I loved my stay at Moonlight! The lady at reception was so sweet and helpful, the room & pool were lovely, and I personally loved exploring the abandoned areas of the hotel (tip - if you go through the *slightly creepy* derelict area you get the most beautiful private beach to yourself!!). It's more like a serviced apartment than a hotel so manage your expectations, but that was perfect for me

Большая часть отеля( виллы, бассейн, ресторан и т. д.)к сожалению заброшены и полуразрушены. Остался только корпус с бассейном на 18 номеров. Номера очень современные с красивым ремонтом. Выход к бассейну из номера это здорово. Только ступеньки в него начинаются на уровне талии, и пенсионеры вряд ли залезут.Уборка ежедневно.Вокруг отеля ничего нет. Только два дорогих ресторана. До ближайшего магазина и ресторанов 15 минут пешком. Пляж весь в камнях и очень сильные отливы, купаться не получится. Но номер сам по себе великолепен. Просто отелю надо убрать на всех площадках по продаже все фото того что заброшено, иначе у гостей возникает разочарование, что их обманули.

Hôtel avec bungalows offrant vue sur la mer, bruits de la nature (vagues, cigales). La plage n'est pas adaptée à la baignade (rochers). Personnel très attentif (un jeune homme multifonctions qui s'active pour répondre à toutes nos demandes). Possibilité de louer un scooter facilement (par l'hôtel), utile car la restauration est fermée (room service seul) en raison du covid. Café cosy, ouvert en journée (petit déjeuner simple mais bon) L'hôtel se charge de réserver le transport pour revenir sur le continent

We had booked to stay next February in a sea view cottage at Moonlight Exotic Bay. I recently had a question about the room, so emailed the hotel. To my surprise, the response informed me that the entire sea facing section (Andaman zone) will be closed this winter and our room will no longer be available. Had I not by chance contacted the hotel, I wonder if I would have been informed of this prior to arriving at the hotel. If you have a booking already, you may want to contact the hotel to cancel and make alternativr arrangements.

The resort itself is quite nice. It’s super peaceful, clean and has pretty much everything you need to enjoy the stay. Staff were generally friendly and willing to help. Of course, since it’s hard to hire more staffers during the pandemic, room cleaning and cooking understandably took longer time. It would be good to keep this mind if you order room services. Btw, there is a lovely cafe called Smoon near the hotel. We spent a lot of time there for coffee, western-style breakfast and lunch. The resort has a private beach, but it’s the best for kayaking, not for swimming or snorkeling. There are too many rocks near the shore and water visibility wasn’t desirable during our stay. The beach is good for sunset watching, though. For those who travel with little kids, it’s a good spot to find hermit crabs. For room tips, rooms with pool view are in a new building which provides bigger space and better internal designs. The seafront villas have better views, but they require a steep climb to get there.

Absolutely love this hotel. If you want spectacular sunsets, your own private beach and warm friendly staff this is the perfect place. Great rustic rooms with amazing views, kayaks to take out and a convenient location are a few things I loved about staying here. Although limited breakfast options the quality of the food was great. We ate in the restaurant one night and enjoyed good quality cuisine. If there is a down side it’s the steps up to the rooms, they can be a challenge as pretty steep and a bit uneven. And also running out of hot water midday.

Grosse und wunderschöne Anlage mit einem gepflegten Garten. Parkähnlich. Direkt am Meer. Bungalow mit Ausblick aufs Meer. Super freundliche Staff. Sehr effizientes check in und check out. Gutes Frühstück am Tisch serviert. Zimmer super gross.Schöne terrasse aufs Meer.
