Avis : LaLaanta Hideaway Resort

L'hôtel est situé loin du centre, mais c'est ce que nous recherchions, le calme. Ici vous ne serez pas déçu. Location de scooter obligatoire pour se déplacer ( attention à la pente la nuit). Très simple de louer avec l'hôtel directement. Le personnel est très agréable et souriant. Merci d'ailleurs pour ces échanges et ces sourires. Le transfert aller/retour de l'hôtel a été parfait et pratique! Puis, il est clair que l'atout fort de cet hôtel, est le cadre. La mer est à vous seul, et il y'a très très peu de touristes. Uniquement ceux qui résident à l'hôtel. Ce qui est parfait! Mais, plusieurs éléments sont à revoir dans cet hôtel. La douche est très difficile à régler au niveau de la température. Je perdais pas mal de temps et je t'avais donc de l'eau inutilement. Quant à la baignoire, l'un des robinets étaient cassés, et pareillement pour le réglage de la température. Je n'ai pas bien dormi dans cet hôtel, le lit et cela avait été noté dans un commentaire, est très dur. Il est aussi regrettable que nos draps n'aient jamais été changés en 10 jours de séjours! Et ce n'est pas faute d'avoir mis la pancarte pour que ce soit fait. Nous sommes conscients de l'aspect écologique, mais une fois en 10 jours en terme de propreté , aurait été judicieux. Nous avons cru un moment que les draps avaient êté changés, mais non, juste retournés. Vraiment dommage... Par ailleurs, notre chambre étant située à proximité de l'accueil et de la salle du petit déjeuné, nous étions réveillés très tôt 7h30/8h. Je n'ai donc pas bien dormi...Enfin, Le petit déjeuné pourrait être plus garni, avec davantage de choix. Dommage que les jus de fruits n'étaient pas naturels. C'est un pays qui regorge de fruits (orange, mangue,etc...) Et on en trouve dans toute l'île a prix très abordable.

Un magnifique hotel sur une magnifique plage. La vue, la tranquillité , la gentillesse et la disponibilité des équipes, les couchers de soleil inoubliables, les siestes dans les hamac, les massages au bord de la plage avec juste le bruit des vagues, les coktails et les plats thaï les pieds dans le sable ♥️♥️ Si vous cherchez tout ca et plus encore vous trouverez le bonheur a la lantaa, merci pour ce séjour.

Le complexe se trouve juste à l'extrémité sud de l'île, tout près du parc national. Jolis bungalows situés dans d'agréables jardins dans une zone boisée. Bien loin de tout autre endroit si calme et préservé. La nourriture était un peu plus chère qu'ailleurs mais bonne. Le personnel était exceptionnel, chaleureux, gentil et serviable, June et Noi méritent une mention spéciale mais tout le personnel était adorable. Nous avons séjourné dans l'un des bungalows standards, à l'arrière, où c'était très calme, la piscine et le restaurant étaient très agréables, mais parfois occupés et nous avons apprécié d'avoir un espace calme pour nous retirer. Chiens et chats amicaux et nombreux divertissements de la part des singes !

Fab u lussss Lors de notre deuxième visite à Koh Lanta, j'ai fait des recherches approfondies et Lalaanta était tout ce que nous espérions. Hors des sentiers battus et la combinaison parfaite de plage et de jungle, et juste à l'extérieur du parc national. Nous avons loué un cyclomoteur, nous avons donc exploré pendant la journée, puis nous nous sommes retirés dans notre refuge pour passer l'après-midi. Les bungalows sont charmants, propres et bien entretenus et le bar/restaurant est sympathique et décontracté. Que demander de plus ? Nous avons également adoré tirer les rideaux pour regarder les singes jouer sur notre terrasse.

Cet endroit est un véritable refuge où vous pourrez vous déconnecter complètement. Il a tout ce dont vous avez besoin : une belle plage à quelques pas de votre chambre, une piscine avec une vue imprenable, de la bonne nourriture et des boissons et un personnel parmi les plus charmants que vous ayez jamais rencontré. Ne manquez pas les massages car ils sont vraiment géniaux et à un prix très raisonnable. Nous en avons pris un tous les jours lors de notre dernier séjour !

If you want seclusion away from the crowds this is the place for you. An adults only resort, set in jungle on a deserted beach, it has a certain rustic simplicity rarely found in Thailand nowadays. The bungalows are comfortable, food and service excellent and it is very relaxed and friendly.

This is a relative small resort. The resort consists of around 20 bungalows in the forest. Bungalows are comfortable and rather spacious. There is a nice swimming pool with sunbeds and views of the sea. The restaurant is located right on the beach. The beach is beautiful and quiet as this is the only hotel located at this beach. You can swim in the sea at low tide and high tide (unlike some beaches that have many rocks). We were here during the Xmas break and it never felt busy. It is far away from most of the island which makes it quiet and relaxing, however, if you want to enjoy nightlife or try out different restaurants a more centrally located hotel might be better suited.

Exceptional small resort hotel on the most beautiful beach in Ko Lanta. We spent 3 nights in a horizon gaze bungalow. 2 adults and our teenage son. It was simply magical. Beautiful room, amazing swimming pools, incredible bar/restaurant where we had dinner every night. Fun renting their scooters and touring the island by day and then retreating to this peaceful haven in the afternoon. Super friendly staff made our stay very special. Very peaceful and relaxing vibe. Away from the hustle and bustle of other parts of the island. Can’t recommend it enough. Hope we get to come back one day.

This was our last stop on a special holiday, hopping across a few different islands. We’d stayed in some wonderful places so were a bit nervous to see if this could top them. From the moment we got picked up from the ferry our experience was perfect. The driver was lovely and knowledgeable. As we drove through to our accommodation we were a bit worried as Koh Lanta seemed very busy and westernised but we needn’t have been. The bungalows are on a remote beach and off the beaten track. The place itself is beautiful and small enough to ensure it’s not too busy with the resort pretty much having the entire, beautiful beach to itself. You also have the benefit of the jungle and the monkeys, lizards and birds. It really special sitting and watching the monkeys play at sunset. The food is outstanding too! Finally a special mention for June and her pets. We love animals and, missing ours, to be able to relax with the super friendly cats and dogs was the icing on the cake. June was so friendly and helpful…a special special place. Thank you!

The staff led by June are friendly, efficient and helpful at this remote beach beauty. The cabins are simple but have everything you need. Book a massage and then while away the day in a hammock, have a cocktail and enjoy the spectacular sunsets.

Hideaway is the main point of this nice hotel, built near Bamboo Beach, southern of Koh Lanta. The hotel is nice, the rooms are small individual bungalows. The place is relatively roots and isolated but remains comfortable and pretty clean. A nice and small pool is available, and the beach is footsteps away with sunbeds and parasols. A great restaurant with fair prices and good food is in the hotel. Very great in order to avoid driving for eating during the evening. The hotel offers motor scooters to rent (300B), and different activities can be organised. It's a nice place to stay if you want (or don't mind) being isolated near a very nice beach.

LaLaanta is truly a very special place. We were lucky enough to have booked one of the Sand Castle Villas, which had a prime view of both pools and the sea. From the moment we arrived on Koh Lanta, the service we were provided with was excellent. I arranged a pick up from the pier, and before we knew it we had arrived in paradise. The food is delicious at LaaLanta, we'd definitely recommend the Pad Thai with prawns, the Vietnamese fresh spring rolls, and the red/green/yellow curries. The staff were all so friendly and attentive, and nothing was too much trouble. We stayed in a few places whilst visiting Thailand, and LaaLanta was hands down our favourite spot. We loved it. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

We stayed for 2 nights in a pool/sea view bungalow. We found all the staff very friendly and helpful. The food was good and well priced. The resort is on the far south of the west coast and has a long white sandy beach and great sunsets. The 2 pools are nice for a cool down from the heat. My only slight niggle are steps in the room from the bed area to the living space and then again down to the bathroom. A real trip hazard at night.

Sometimes you are lucky enough to find a hotel offering peaceful and beautiful surroundings without any hassle of noise or tons of people. The LaLaanta hideaway is one of these gems. The closest supermarket is 1km off, and the hotel area is surrounded by national park. The beach is stunning, and we had the pleasure to enjoy few sunsets during our short stay. As the hotel is at the south peak of Koh Lanta, you need a taxi from the Krabi airport. Just book it with the hotel, they have own taxi service for this. Prepare for 2.5h drive. The rooms are basic, but really nice and close to the beach. Prepare yourself for bungalow type of stay with proper air conditioning. The area has 2 small pools with the sunbeds, but we enjoyed the beach, our hotel having the only sunbeds at the beach! Staff & services The staff is very friendly, and they help you with everything. Activies are very limited, but you must remember this is a place to relax! Grab a book, enjoy the amazing atmosphere and just chill. You can get a massage (recommended), paddle, play ball or swing; those are the activities available. Food The menu is quite wide, but this time we checked out the Thai menu only. I recommend red or green curry dishes. The breakfast is beyond enough (included).
