We finally could take our trip to Thailand after over two years of not being able to travel. You can still feel the impact of the extensive lock down but tourism has come back and the "Thailand" feeling was fully back. The villa is in a very central location which is great if you are traveling with kids. Everything is in walking distance and if you take a rental car (the villa manager can help you to get you a good local deal) you will be very flexible. We also went to the amazing Full Moon Party and due to the good location, the boat to take you there is literally next door. The staff was very kind and helpful, however English was sometimes a challenge, but you can always communicate with the villa manager and get quick response and help. The only "negative" we could say is that the villa is starting to age a bit and you can see it in some areas (fitness equipment), as well as some of the technology in place. But this is already being worked on. Everything worked fine though.
