SleepOver Komatipoort

I really enjoyed my stay at SleepOver Komatipoort. Despite the detours, it was very easy to find, with plenty of signage. There was a secure parking space right next to the unit. It is in a very convenient location, just a 5 minute drive to shops and restaurants, and close to the Crocodile Bridge gate to get an early start into Kruger. The unit was comfortable, clean and well equipped. There was a good wifi connection to work. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again if passing through Komatipoort.

As with all sleepovers - clean, neat, organised and your perfect stop over - we were en route to Mozambique. Arrived late and left early to get to the boarder before the JHB rush. Would definately try stay there every trip.

Wonderful experience from start to the time we left. Just a pity that the entrance from the main road is blocked by the trucks. Very difficult and dangerous to enter.... especially during the evening. Will recommend this accommodation and will definitely return in future.

Very pleasant stay over, The most amazing staff so help full . Excellent service at the restaurant, food was very tasty. i would recommend it any traveler that requires a rest full sleep over. . Will be staying there again on my trip back..

Booked 2 units. Also went with a group that booked 4 other units. My experience was not so good. The unit I booked had faulty hot water supply. Water got either so hot you burnt and could breathe from the steam or freezing cold. Didn't matter which way you turn the tap. My son got burnt first and then ended up having a freezing cold shower. I went in and found out what he was talking about. The steam was so bad from the boiling water that I had to duck in and out off that I had to leave the bathroom door open which them set off the fire alarm over and over, louder and louder, longer until non-stop. I went to get the manager to deal with it who was drunk and then sent another drunk attendant to assist who was more interested in saying I'm smoking (we don't smoke) to set off the alarm than dealing with it and completely ignored the faulty hot water complaint. My partner also battles with the boiling and freezing water. Beds were hard as hell, kids bed is basically mattress on the floor. Room is tiny. Trucks honking and starting and idling next door on the N4 made it hard to sleep. I booked somewhere else for the return trip and everything was 1000 better at the same price.
