We stayed from 6-15 June 2023, family w/ 7, 5 & 1. OVERALL: We enjoyed our stay at Club Wasa, our room was spacious, clean and modern, close to the restaurant, pool and beach. Food was awesome and coffee was available all day... ideal for us! Thanks Mustafa (head chef) and his team :) Front of house manager was also great, really appreciated his help with our pram wheel on day 1! Saved our sanity and our backs! :) Google translate was very useful. We would stay again as a couple, as for the price it was fine. But not as a family with children. --------------------------------------------------- PROS: Our room was modern and spacious with a balcony, and housekeeping did a good job - bins emptied daily, beds tidied, towels replaced if on the floor. CONS: We had an issue with ants and their flying rellies on day 2 and staff couldn't organise bait so we made a concoction with shower gel and baking soda to block the gaps! Room was located in last block next to restaurant which was super convenient to pool and beach too... BUT, this also meant it was next to the stage and super loud entertainment at next door's hotel, which goes until at least 10.30pm every night. Not that ideal for getting kids to sleep but we were on holiday so we just had to deal with it. No tea/coffee or kettle in rooms, but had a small fridge. No cot available but we had one with us luckily! (The Koo-di cot is only 2.5kgs max so really good for baggage allowance!) No lifts in the apartment blocks, although only 4 floors I think, with babies and beach stuff, it could be a bit of a mission! -------------- PROS: Food was amazing, Mustafa (head chef) is clearly passionate about his restaurant and his guests enjoying themselves. Huge selection of fancy desserts, fresh salad bar and great selection of hots daily. Snack bar had burgers, salad and chips from 11-3pm, cakes 3-5pm, ice creams 3-4pm. Mustafa was also awesome in making sure we had milk for our baby, as did one of his kitchen ladies :) CONS: I would have liked to see a bowl of fresh fruit salad on the dessert bar, not just whole apples, oranges and pears. Only a 15-20 min walk to Migros (proper supermarket) to buy bananas and apricots etc so that was ok. Figs along the walk weren't ripe for us which was a pity! Power/ electricity went out a few times temporarily which meant drinks machines were off, incl coffee at breakfast time one morning (argh!!). Some staff were more attentive to topping up alcohol levels... and the word 'sorry' was not used much. 'No' was as far as you got sometimes! But to be honest, I think this was because a lot of the guests were super rude Russians sadly, who smoked anywhere they wanted to, practically on top of our children, without any consideration for anyone else's health. They also pushed in front of children to get food, which is not acceptable behaviour where we come from. --------------- PROS: Animation team was ok, mostly entertainment when the kids mini disco finished at
