Luxury Suites at Platinum Hotel

Very good Location in the city central, lovely infinity pool on top of the roof. Spacious serviced apar**ent , very convenient for family stay. Easy check in& checkout. Room service were quite late & didn’t clean the appartement every day though we left the sign. Also they provide good value transportation to the airport big air conditioned van suitable for a family with good price.

Fantastic location with nice swimming pool that has the great view to the Petronas Twin Towers, new and modern. Cleaning is a bit minimum but service is good. A bit noisy at night from the traffic road. Very dusty windows.

Platinum or Face Suites are under 1 roof Airbnb accommodations with roof top pool and gym which are quite decent with photo opportunities and workouts. No room service but you can find a cafe serving very nice coffee n breakfast just 1 minute away to the left , a Grocery store 9am-12 midnight and 24 hr convenient store.Nearby is Hard Rock Cafe (walkable) and Pavilion Mall by Grab is 5 mins away.Hotel price will be higher and rooms are smaller so depends on your needs. And yes the TV is not workable but we have all the electronic devices connected to the room wi fi which was working fine. And you may request for extra bath towels if you need. We will definitely come back again.

Lots to say here….. Background Don’t think of this as a hotel, this is something similar to a group of managed apar**ents. So you may find around 5 different ‘companies’ offering accommodation in this huge apar**ent block. Each company looks after a set of self contained apar**ents varying - they may manage between 20 to maybe 60 apar**ents. The Platinum building itself is very well known in KL and from what we could tell, is well respected and has a good reputation. Location is ok, and we could get around really easily. The building has a great open air infinity swimming pool on the top floor, a bar area for snacks and food in the evening and a pretty good gym. The reception area is, frankly, disorganised. Each of these ‘companies’ pitch up every day and take some seats in the customer area and field questions and issue keys / take payment. Lots of people are there with luggage killing time waiting for check-in or waiting for pick-ups after check-out. Therefore not easy to figure it all out or get a seat on your first day. The Apar**ents These can vary quite a lot, we stayed in two different apar**ents run by two separate management companies. The contrast was obvious. Both companies were reasonably relaxed and tried to be helpful, but one more than the other had put the effort in to run this more professionally and to kit out the apar**ent a little better. The little bit of inves**ent shone through. Let me explain…. In apar**ent 1, it was adequately clean, but the wifi didn’t work at all in the second bedroom, additionally the bed in the second bedroom had no legs. The TVs didn’t seem to pick up any channels and the ambience was very average. Albeit the apar**ent was modern and aside from the comments I made things generally worked (though you probably needed to spend a little time figuring out that there was a button to switch the hot water on and stuff like that). The person who ‘checked us in’ was very nice and to be fair we didn’t complain about the frankly (for us at least) minor issues. One comment though, they were happy for us to check in 2 hours early and check out 90 mins late, a really helpful stance. Overall rating is probably 3.5 out of 5. Apar**ent 2, same block, same size but much more effort had been put in, everything worked, we had videos sent to us on WhatsApp explaining how to use stuff, they kept in touch with us to ask when we would arrive, etc (we received nothing on apar**ent 1). On day 1 we noticed a problem with a leaking air con, they responded immediately and the next day a service guy appeared and fixed it without fuss or hassle. So this one is probably 4.5 out of 5 (based on it being a serviced apar**ent and not a hotel). Note though they were more rigid on check-in and check-out times. So overall 4 out of 5 for the pair of apar**ents. However you get the issue, you really don’t know what you are going to get, some ‘companies’ will be better and more diligent than others. The better apar**ent was actually 30%

Very luxurious rooms. A roof top pool with a fantastic view. A simple gym with a complete machinery. The cost for a room that sleeps four was around 140 Euros, which is cheap considering the luxury and the location. Cons were the lack of breakfast, which means you have to find a place nearby outside the hotel. The guards at the roof top pool did their job with a great ambition: you will have to write down your purpose with the visit - swim, take photos or just admire the view, and also state your planned time at the pool. When training at the gym, the guards use the cctv watching you; if you wear open toe shoes, or take off your shoes, they will come and tell you how to correct yourself.

Le Suites ovvero gli appartamenti sono belli con vista sicuramente molto gradevole (ma considerate che lo Skyline a KLL è abbastanza alla portata di tutti gli alberghi) ma mi sento di penalizzare questa struttura per tre motivi. 1 la pulizia degli ambienti era assente. Lenzuola vecchie, polvere ovunque, servizi non igienizzati, vetri mai puliti. 2 il personale che gestisce gli appartamenti sono ragazzi in ciabatte che nella lussuosa hall vi danno le chiavi. A noi è capitato un ragazzo sgarbato, maleducato e a tratti pure verbalmente aggressivo. Una vera assurdità 3. È un carnaio, un via vai di persone che salgono e scendono per quei 50 Piani. La piscina è bellissima ma dovrete chiedere permesso per entrarci! C'è anche un ristorante carino con vista ovviamente
