Average experience -
Day 1 -
Checked into the first room - saw a roach and a ear bud on the phone, bedsheet and towels are damp.
Checked into second room as replacement - stains on bedsheet and also towels are damp.
Duty manager was supposed to contact but did not that night.
Day 2 -
Arrived into into room - saw the towels not changed, just refolded. Clogged sink not cleared. Litter not cleaned up.
Duty manager was out so was informed to speak to the main manager on day 3 / Desmond
Day 3
Front desk Manager did not turn up. So spoke to the duty manager who did his best to make our trip memorable. More to another cleaner room.
Side note - seems news went around and the housekeeping commented that wages were not sufficient and it’s tough work on housekeeping. Save that comments for your management or downgrade to a 2 star hotel not for your customers. Was backpacking during my younger days, and even those were cleaner and well maintained.
Overall - the only positives such as location, service quality of staff who can be either very friendly or nonchalant l, I think given the price paid, there are better options out there (Hilton / Sheraton) especially if bringing kids l. Rooms dated, smells mouldy along the corridors, in need for infrastructure
