Longview Vineyard

What a spot for my 50th birthday party...! It worked a treat for our wedding 15 years ago, why wouldn't we come back for my 50th? Turns out it was even better the 2nd time around, and we are still buzzing from every well-orchestrated detail. Every aspect was faultless - the staff, the Day Spa, the Cellar Door, The Lodge (our extra-chic stay that was great for our family group of 4 couples) we couldn't rate any of it highly enough. Kiki, the events manager, was there to answer all my planning queries, and even as we arrived 2 days before my event (with a wedding on the night before mine) nothing was too much trouble - I felt like my event mattered. We entertained 90 guests in The Barn, had every beverage we asked for, so exquisite food served for partying guests, two open fires blazing, and no detail overlooked. For a wedding, a weekend away, or simply for a Sunday drive for lunch with delicious wines, just do it...

Our overnight stay at Longview was pretty well top notch. We stayed in a clean, comfortable & modern room with bright, clean ensuite. Breakfast items were supplied including a bread loaf, toaster and bacon and eggs in the fridge! Car parking was adjacent to our room making loading & unloading quite easy. All in all we felt it was good value staying while we enjoyed our hills weekend.

We stayed in a Vineyard suite for two nights last week and loved it. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable and the view of vineyards and kangaroos was stunning. This proved to be a great base for Adelaide Hills with easy and picturesque drives to Bird in Hand, Petaluma, Shaw and Smith, Hahndorf, Melbas Chocolates, Woodside Cheese and Beerenberg. It was peaceful and quiet returning to Longview after a busy day of sights and tastes.

We were given a night's accommodation as a gift to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary. Longview is located in Macclesfield in the Adelaide Hills. We stayed in the Vineyard suite which had amazing views of some of the vineyards. The room had a king-size bed, a small kitchenette, reverse cycle air-conditioning with a large television on the wall. There were provisions for you to cook your own breakfast. Bacon, eggs, tomatoes, granola, juice, milk, bread, jams, tea and coffee and soft drinks. We were also given a bottle of Longview Shiraz to enjoy. They have a Cellar door where you can have lunch or just do some wine tasting. The grounds are surrounded with lush green grass and vineyards. If you are lucky you might even spot some kangaroos. I would highly recommend this place for the perfect getaway and you can even treat yourself to their relaxing Day Spa

Came here for a wedding! The rooms were stunning, everything in the kitchen worked perfectly and the bath was unreal. The nearby tasting room was staffed by friendly and knowledgeable people, shoutout to Ember for her excellent recommendation, the wine was so popular it went in under 5 minutes.

After a hectic week we arrived at our accommodation (Vineyard suite) to find a well-appointed unit with a deck overlooking the endless vines. The room is spacious, with a king-size bed (firm, but not uncomfortable) and plenty of room to sit or put any personal belongings. The bathroom is also a good size, with a huge shower, fluffy towels and in shower hair and body care products. The kitchenette was fitted out with all the essentials: we cooked our included eggs and bacon and tomato in the morning, on the BBQ outside accompanied by a yummy loaf of artisan bread and jam, as well as a nice plunger coffee. All staff at the winery that we dealt with at the time of booking and check out were extremely friendly and helpful. The winery has a secluded and relaxing feel to it, waking up to the sounds of birds was just what we needed. We will be back for longer next time.

The Accomodation was fabulous. The unit looks out over the vineyard and bush hills in the background. Wonderful breakfast supplies and great spa bath (nice to enjoy one again). There a number of different units but each has a view of the vineyards. I’d love to come back.

We visited for the Cellar Gems winter reds event and absolutely loved it! The staff service was excellent, wines delicious and food was outstanding. Ambiance, views and space were all wonderful too. We live 20 minutes away and will definitely be back!

I have been communicating with Longview Winery for a while now as a possible wedding venue in 2023. I must say they been have so friendly and helpful with the process. I emailed them a bunch of questions about the wedding venue and they replied very quickly and with great detail. I look forward to meeting with them in person and seeing their beautiful winery !
