Avis : Kunming Guanwei International Hotel (Wanda Twin Tower Xishan)

We had a very comfortable stay and the services are very efficient. The laundry services are v efficient and helpful for our stay. The hotel is centrally located and near to many attractions.

The hotel is highly recommended. They upgraded our room to a vip one for free. The room was excellent with great view of twin towers. The breakfast was a complete buffet that considered western style foods as well.

Great stay, hotel is very model and new, great location right next to Wanda Plaza

Shopping mall was a walking distance away from the hotel. There’s also a 24hr convenience store near the hotel. Warmly greeted during check-in, and check-in & out process is very smooth. Room was spacious and very clean. Toilet floor was also heated. Packet milks were delivered to the room before bed time — a nice touch. Staff went above and beyond helping us to navigate around China mobile app. Really appreciate both Yang and Ting for their help.

Amazing experience. Location was pretty good and perfect for calling didi. Staff were really nice and accomodating and ensured the room we received suited our needs. Only booked with one free breakfast and we didn’t know but they were able to give us another one for free. Very advanced technology too with robot delivering our food.

The hotel is in a great location. Near Kunming train station. Also close to Wanda plaza. Though we did not go due to limited available time. The hotel really stood out with their breakfast. Super yummy. Kids love them. For the room. While it is not the biggest. It is decent for the price.

Customer service was superb. The front desk staff was helpful and meticulous, even patiently helped us through when we were ordering food delivery. A pity we didn't manage to get her name, but she was extremely professional and approachable. Cleanliness-wise, the room was generally clean upon check-in, with some wet spots on the ground, not sure if they were in a rush so they missed a puddle or two when cleaning. Nothing too big of an issue. We requested for a non-smoking room and while the room was spacious and smoke-free, unfortunately it was not a non-smoking floor, so the lift lobby and corridor area would often have a strong smoke smell. Might be a good idea to just have all the non-smoking rooms on the same floor(s) or more air purifiers in common areas. Overall, still a good stay and value for money! Will definitely consider when we are back in Kunming in future.

Stayed there for two nights. We had requested for a non-smoking room and was given one with a extremely smelly room. Fortunately, the hotel staff were really quick in replacing a new room for us, thus the 4 stars for their service. The design of the room is really unique too! A great place to stay if you are fond of quiet places as the location is pretty far from lively places and with limited food option around the area. Room was clean and spacious as well

we love living in the hotel. the services there are very good and we enjoy communicating with the servers there. However, the advertisement had a little bit misleading as the name of the hotel made us believe that the hotel is located in the twins building and hence wasting our time to find the location of the hotel. That is the thing we want to complain about.

Reception staff super helpful. Hotel is conveniently located next to a key shopping mall. I asked for a non smoking room. While it was bit possible to provide hotel staff make sure they put an air purifier in my room to accommodate. Very thoughtful indeed.
