« This hotel has a great location, it’s walking distance to both foursquare and church of good shepherd. It’s an old building however they maintain it quite well, it’s have the mix style in the hotel - old + new. The cafe has a nice view to the lake tekapo.
However the bed and pillow is quite soft, we don’t really get used to it. Room is exactly like the picture. The toilet is good space for single person, the water pressure is great, however there’s no ventilator in the toilet, so need to open a small window in the toilet for ventilator. It would be great if the hotel can consider to have microwave in the room for people that need to use. »

« 這個公寓是我這次旅途最滿意的地方，可以説驚艷。首先所有設備應有盡有，跟回家一樣。然後公寓大的不得了，客廳和廚房大到可以翻跟頭，設備很新很乾凈。廚房配備了所有可能的用品。這裏的風景也是太好了，在客廳可以看到湖，兩個超大陽台，我們一家三口住，兩個卧室，兩個洗手間。出門不遠有個小農場可以擼動物，開車幾分鐘就到了鎮中心。總之一切都是完美的，就是可惜我們衹住了一晚。
設施：什麼都有，我們到了第一件事就是洗衣服乾衣服，太方便了。暖氣也超級舒服，衞生間嶄新乾淨，廚房電器設備很齊全，還有免費牛奶。
衞生：非常乾淨
環境：面對tekapo湖，風景優美
服務： 很好，房東向我們介紹房子 »

« Le patron est chinois, il peut communiquer en chinois et la position est très calme.
Mais le lit est doux, surtout sur le bord, comme dans le siège, et il y a aussi un bruit sur le toit. La chambre est attachée à dire que le bois est chaud et froid. J'ai pensé que les animaux étaient en train de se battre sur le toit. »

DDarwin KanThe room is very clean and close to city centre and Church of good Shepherd. Albeit the weather is not perfect during our stay, I still had a good time staying in the room chatting with my friend. There is no reception for check in but you can contact the staff via WhatsApp call and they responded quickly. All in all the stay is pleasant and would recommend to others.

The unit was sparkling clean and spacious, with a lovely courtyard to enjoy. The bed and pillows were clean and comfortable, ensuring a good night's rest.
Contrary to some reviews, no deposit was required, which was a pleasant surprise. The location is fantastic—less than a 5-minute drive to Lake Tekapo—and parking right in front of the unit was very convenient. The check-in instructions were clear and easy to follow.
The facilities were great overall especially kitchen amenities and 2in1 washer with dryer!
The dish wash machine helps lot on the kitchen cleaning work!
The only suggestion I have for improvement would be to add a fence in the shower area to separate the wet and dry zones, which would make it even better.
Overall, a wonderful stay. Highly recommend!

CChak Heng AndrewThis hotel stay was truly exceptional, offering a wonderful combination of a peaceful, quiet location and top-notch amenities. The best part was the ability to gaze up at the stars through the large windows - the perfect way to end each evening.
The check-in process was seamless, with the owner providing the password to the key box ahead of time so we could access the unit with ease. Once inside, we were impressed by the large, spacious layout and the high-quality kitchen equipment.
The added touch of having two comfortable bean bag chairs for stargazing was such a lovely and thoughtful detail. And having two bathrooms was a huge plus, especially when traveling as a family.
Overall, the combination of the quiet, scenic location, well-appointed unit, and attentive host made this one of the best hotel experiences we've had. We'd absolutely recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with exceptional stargazing opportunities. It's a hidden gem!

We weren’t aware that toilet, shower and kitchen is all shared. Cabin is super tiny that is hard to do anything else inside. We didn’t sleep that well and it was not convenient that you have to go outside for toilets in the middle of night.
The campsite is nice, but with the amount of people and campvan, the utilities seem to be overloaded.

The room was beautifully decorated, and we received a lovely welcome letter congratulating us on our honeymoon, which made us feel truly special. One of the highlights was the skylight panel above the bed—it exceeded our expectations. Once we turned off the lights, we could clearly see a stunning view of the stars, adding a magical touch to our stay.

FFayreWe are couple with a 5 year old girl. We paid SGD697.85 (Singapore dollar) for staying 2 nights in this “2 bedroom apartment” as stated.
3 points here to explain the terrible experience.
1. tv remote is not working. I don’t mind the owner making excuse like “ replied customer’s message within 20mins…..” but they actually took 29mins to reply (19:10 till 19:39). In fact, they didn’t manage to change the tv remote in the end. So I stayed 2 nights without using the TV!
2.there is no clear and obvious description that this “2 bedroom apartment” is actually an adjoining unit which means when u walked into the front door then there are 2 doors link to split parts of the apartment. The problem of adjoining units are thin walls are used to split the apartment into 2 small units. When u stay in this kind of apartment, u have to endure all kind of noises from whoever staying in neighboring rooms. We had 2 days enduring guesting from the other room shouting, slamming the door, kids screaming like crazy both early in the morning and afternoon!
3. When I reflect this bad experience with trip.com customer service, this hotel responded like they have no fault at all and played with words. This attitude makes us feel like being fooled. We paid money to expect to stay in an apartment with privacy and quiet environment but indeed we had such a bad experience!
In this market, if it’s an adjoining unit, they should not charge at the rate as if it’s an entire apartment.
I’m alright that they rejected to refund the extra amount they charged. Just have to reflect the facts in the review.
