Apartamentos LIVVO Las Gaviotas

My friend and I were allocated room 16 in block 8 which was just a short walk away to the shopping centre and beach. It had a big patio with distance views to the sea. Nice deep pool with the lovely Hannah running the pool bar. We also visited block 3 which had a smaller quieter pool. No issues with the apartment which was cleaned regularly. I asked for extra pillows and these were delivered promptly. We would definitely choose to stay here again.

We arrived on 15th March for a weeks stay. I had, had to email the hotel prior to arrival due to an accident and wearing a leg brace, so long walks being difficult. They recommended block 2. Upon arrival the friendly receptionist remembered my injury and asked how I was, which was a nice touch. She then arranged for us to be taken to our bungalow which was in block 2 a 1 minute walk to the beach and to the shops/bars and restaurants. All staff were so helpful during our stay, and made it a really relaxing break. the bungalow was well equipped and so clean. Thank you for a fantastic holiday, I am already looking at booking in for next year!

Booked a Superior apartment and got block 2 with a pool facing apartment. Was very pleased indeed with the location of this as those facing the road do not have the same wonderful aspect. Block 2 is very close to the beach and promenade and is very quiet with not many people around the pool. Win win. OK the apartment was a little tired in places and the mattress could definitely have done with an upgrade, but minor issues. Wifi was rather hit and miss and you had to keep logging back on. We both needed wifi for working and it was just about adequate. The complex is attractive, the cleaning staff are friendly and efficient and reception exceptionally helpful and will order taxis for you if you dial reception. All in all a great complex with good facilities and accommodation very close to the promenade. Sadly the Commercial Centre opposite (though nothing to do with Gaviotas) is run down and tired. But a brisk walk around the bay brings you to a selection of restaurants with nice views and a range of dining options.

Just got back from 9 days stay in block 8 room 7. Staff are amazing , cases taken to the room and returned to reception at the end,lovely and clean room, wanted extra pillow this was brought straight away had a issue with toilet seat it was mended in a hour of asking. Pool was lovely never struggled for a lounger. Short walk to sea front. Only negative was beds were not really very good more like camp beds seemed different to superior room ones, not suitable for adults, the one bed was awful uncomfortable and creaked terrible soon as you moved causing lack of sleep,I think it must be broken,however I didn't complain about it so didn't give them chance to correct it so that's my fault. Will Definitely stay again loved location of block 8

Was really looking forward to staying here after reading the reviews but won't ever stay again, it was like being in a prison with the amount of keys that you had to use to get into the property and bedrooms. Cleaning was suppose to be 5 days a week and towels changed twice a week but it was the other way round we got clean towels everyday but they only cleaned the room once in the fortnight we was there had to clean up myself and for changing the beds well they hadn't been changed for 3 days so when the cleaner came to bring towels I asked her if she was changing the bedding she said no not today, went to reception to report that we had not had any bedding changed she said we will send someone two days later the cleaner came I said are you Cleaning everywhere and changing the bedding yes she said I said good, went back in has noticed she was only there 5 minutes and all she done was just put the quilt cover back over the bed so no bedding changed and no cleaning done once again so same rigmarole the next day come to bring towels I ask again are you changing the bedding and cleaning the answer was no just towels today so by this time I had enough and told her I want fresh bedding on and want it cleaning she got on the phone to the housekeeper and said OK I will do it for you today so nearly a week had gone by, come the 2nd week it was back to square one you will get plenty of towels but don't expect anything else, very poor standard place the room needs updating I would say its a 1 star, we was staying in block 1 room 4. I think unless you are privately renting you are none existing... also no aircon in any of the rooms plus don't drink put of the kettle it stunk of bleach we reported about the kettle got told they would bring us a new one but it never happened.

Amazing location, clean and well equipped for self catering apartments with lots of space inside and outside. We had a great and relaxing stay and we loved it so much we have booked again for next year. Shops and very clean beach 5 minutes walk. If you travelling with children I would highly recommend Rancho Texsas with animal shows and water park. Taxi from our hotel was only €10
