Onisillos Hotel

Warm water was only available between 9am and 9pm, it wasn't hot water at all.. the heater din't work. Hotel looks like 80's and in general it was not only damaged but as well dirty. Location in fact was good, only 5 min to old town, to the sea and promenade.

Never felt the need to complain about a hotel stay up until now. We stayed with Onisillos Hotel from March 9th to the 11th and it was well and truly the worst experience ive ever had staying at a hotel. The windowsill in bathroom was vile, rotten and falling apart. Loose tiles in all parts of the room on floor and walls. We had to request to have the hot water turned on in our room for a shower and then the manager pressured us into having a shower quickly so he could turn it back off again. He kept complaining that every time the expensive part from the boiler breaks when people shower, he needs to order the part from Italy and will bill the customers for this. On the Friday morning we showered and then left our room for breakfast and to go and have a swim in the beach, when we came back to our room, we asked for the hot water to be turned back on so we could wash and get changed for the evening. The manager at first denied us having a second shower until I said we'd been in the sea and I need a shower to wash off the sand and salt... I was disgusted by him even denying us a shower when we were paying guests. The shower itself was broken and not fixed to the wall, had low pressure and the water was lukewarm at best even when boiler was supposedly turned on. Our TV had a Greek plug with a UK plug socket on the wall so we were unable to use the television. When we addressed this with the manager, he asked if we could speak Greek as this is the only language on local TV so don't worry about the TV if we cannot. Room was filthy under the beds/tables and we found mess under every bed including a water bottle in the bottom of the sofa bed with an expiry date from 2 years ago! Had to hand in our key when we went out in the evening which I've never had to do at any hotel I've ever stayed at. Hotel was generally old and dilapidated. All in all would avoid staying here. Awful.

We booked without looking at the room, big mistake. Air-conditioning didn't work, no WiFi in the room only at the reception, view over a backyard, no hot water in the evening and morning, old furniture's

I don’t write to much, you can se the photos..Ohh and you can’t open the windows because the recepcion guy get mad.But the location is really good.If you pay a little bit more you can get a better room.

Very friendly, good and welcoming family hotel. The owner, Mr Christos showed warm hearted hospitality. Good rates. Close to the international airport. You can walk to the beach in just 5 min. Also the Sct Lazarus Church is just around the corner. A good solution for a place to stay some days in Larnaca.

Hotel trochę zaniedbany ale właściciel bardzo miły i pomocny. Pokoje skromne i niezbyt czyste. Tak właściwie to standard hostelu. Dużym plusem jest położenie. Blisko do wszystkich atrakcji w Larnace. Jeśli komuś zależy na bazie wypadowej to można polecić

Αν βαθμολογουσα μόνο την φιλοξενία ίσως να έπαιρνε 5/5, μιας και ο ιδιοκτήτης ήταν πολύ φιλικός και εξυπηρετικός, με χιούμορ και καλή διάθεση. Δυστυχώς όμως ήταν το μόνο θετικό! Το ξενοδοχείο είναι πολύ παλιό και είναι σχεδόν σίγουρο ότι δεν έχει ανακαινιστεί ποτέ ούτε έχει αλλάξει κάτι από την στιγμή που πρώτοφτιάχτηκε! Τα δωμάτια δεν θα έλεγα ότι σφύζουν από καθαριότητα, έχουν παλιά έπιπλα και σοβάδες κρέμονται από τα ταβάνια. Ακόμη, μας ενημέρωσαν ότι δεν θα υπάρχει ζεστό νερό, λόγω βλάβης και έτσι δεν μπορέσαμε να κάνουμε ούτε ντουζ, ενώ στο μπάνιο μύριζε έντονα η αποχέτευση. Τέλος, υπήρχε μόνο μια μπριζα, παλιού τύπου, στην οποία δεν έμπαινε ο φορτιστής με αποτέλεσμα να μην μπορούμε καν να φορτίσουμε τα κινητά μας. Εν κατακλείδι, μπορεί να ήταν το φθηνότερο που βρήκαμε στην πόλη, αλλά σίγουρα με τα περίπου 50ε που δώσαμε περιμέναμε κάτι πολύ καλύτερο. Για ένα βράδυ και έναν ύπνο παλεύεται, αν θέλετε να κάτσετε παραπάνω θα πρότεινα να βρείτε κάτι άλλο!
