Splendido Hotel

We have a very pleasant stay on their facility. Their location has a perfect view of taal volcano. It is regretful that these hotel was not further developed since they have an almost perfect spot. Overall we highly recommend splendido hotel for staycations. We will definitely come back.

The booking was nice. The room was big and clean. It also has towels and water. Hoping just to add one chair.. It also has shutttle service that will transport you from hotel tothe hiway main entrance.

객실에서의 와이파이 사용이 어렵고 시설이 노후하여 청결상태가 불량합니다. 그리고 작은 부분에서도 고객에게 비용을 부담하여야 하여. 정신적으로 매우. 피곤했습니다 이런 시설은 판매하지 않아야 합니다

- Old facilities - Far from famous restaurants - Sink's too long to drain water (clogged) - No drain cover for bathtub (very disappointed, bec I have a toddler who always wants to soak into the tub) - Welcome drink in their description is not true, they only gave us a sachet of coffee, lol! Is this even a "hotel"? Their description on Agoda says they have free water, free coffee, free tea. I only receieved those. Where's the welcome drink? (They did not give me even though I asked for it) - Cockroach are entering the bathroom bec the drains have no cover. - Elevator sticks! (Like a pee) 🤮 (Please don't call this place a hotel, bec it's not. The location of it has a good ambiance because it's inside of a golf club, but the hotel itself, won't definitely recommend it. - Safe is not working, batteries are not being replaced. - The aircon placed on top of the bed. So when the aircon moisted, it dripped on my sister's face. (Smart place for the aircon I guess? HAHA) - Service staff are on their BARE MINIMUM. 😅 It's not giving hotel vibe staycation. (Been to a lot of hotels recently, and I must say that from my experience here, I am very disappointed. U'll encounter situations you did not expect from this place, I mean looking at the pictures from agoda and trip advisor? Looks can be deceiving. (Paid for 5,850 pesos and I regretted booking here because there are a lot better hotels out there that costs just like that & sometimes even cheaper but excellent experience) - The only good thing about our vacation here is the people I'm with. ☺️

Loved our stay at Splendido Hotel. I have read mixed reviews so I managed my expectations. It was a quick birthday weekend with my kids who haven't been to Ta***tay and they have been wanting to see Taal Volcano. I am so glad I chose Splendido. Totally leaned on the positive reviews. From the staff to the WiFi, from the bed to the bathtub, and the view OMG everything was perfect. I love how the staff was available but not hovering. It was secure, safe and so peaceful! My kids can't wait to be back and so do I. Thank you Splendido!

This hotel has a lot of potential, nice surroundings with good views, but it seems that their owner is pinching a lot of pennies. The hotel has only one working elevator, no service elevator, doesn’t have a generator (we experienced long hours of brownouts, had to go up and down 8 flights of stairs), clogged toilets and sink, poor restaurant service (3 hours waiting for food), poor room service (was informed that the food we ordered was not available after an hour). When room service food came, it was in takeout boxes with plastic utensils, it seemed that they ordered food outside the property. The porter was also the golf cart shuttle driver. The sink in our room was rusted. I almost slipped and fell in the bathroom because of their cheap shower mat. The front desk held on to my ID because they could not process a room deposit with a credit card, and they refused to return my ID even if all the bills were settled because one of my companions was still in our room. The hotel has two towers, a golf course and a very nice and big swimming pool. Their clubhouse/building next door was boarded up. No bathrobes were included. Their decor is dated. The hotel needs better maintenance. The employees were hospitable only to a bare minimum. When we would ask inquire something on a service, their usual answer is an “I don’t know”. When we ask them if their food service is really that long, they answer “just wait for it.” They also did not initiate on refunding the early check-ins despite power outage during the morning hours. Their hotel service needs to step up, overall.

Aside from their good service due to the FO - everything was horrible. This is the only place I didn’t ask for a late check-out. I couldn’t get out of there fast enough. Everything has to be paid. The room had so many broken fixtures to it. The lock of the door wasn’t working (low battery). There are too many issues

We were excited to check in since we got a good deal thru agoda for 2 bedrooms. However, we encountered multiple problems durinf our stay. 1. The first room given to us had a broken AC unit and it was flooding the room already, i even slipped luckily i was able to keep my balance 😂 2. There were only 2 bowling lanes at the country club the rest of the 6 are under maintenance. We made a reservation already thru hotel however upon asking the reception at the family building, they said that there was no endorsement from hotel. We had to wait another 1 hour to play bowling. 😔 3. Prior to arrival, i checked if all amenities and restaurant accept debit cards and they responded yes it wont be a problem. But when we went to sports building, they mentioned that they cannot accept card payments because the terminal was at the family building they werent willing to bring the terminal down so we can pay and instead, i had to climb stairs before reaching the family bldg then walk down back just to play badminton. It was very inconvenient. 5. We requested extension but going back up the hotel after 12, toom key wasnt working and they did not advise we needed to return it at the front desk and get a new one. 4. Lastly, I got stuck in the elevator. No one in the security nor reception new that the elevator malfunctioned and someone was in there for quite a time already. Good thing my family was outside waiting for me so i was able to ask for help. We comolained and reception said that it did not appear on their elevator system in a tone that it’s our fault that it did not appear there.
