Sleep & Nature Hotel

The hotel and location are nice. The service at the restaurant is terrible: very slow, very amateur, always needing to ask for the same things 2 or 3 times; the service takes forever, almost two hours dinner, with waiting periods over 45 minutes between courses. Very bad. Room was very clean and cozy.

Too expensive for what it offers. Overbearing and foolish management that won't admit its mistakes. Decisions that favor business events instead of the relaxation they claim to offer leisure guests. Access is 1.5km on dirt, full of terraces from tractors, which makes it impossible for a car to go more than 10kms/h without breaking the shock absorbers. At check-in there was a group of around 50 people at the entrance to the hotel. We headed for the pool and were surprised by the same group on the pool terrace. It was a company team building event with food, drink and a lot of noise. It was impossible to rest. Small, plastic outdoor pool overlooking the air-conditioned rooms. The company's employees took over the hotel and filmed us with a drone while we were in the pool, without any authorization or warning. This is a clear disregard on the part of the hotel for the privacy of its guests. We went to the room and found the sheets and pillows dirty. The group continued to make noise all afternoon all over the property, on a peddy paper, running and shouting, and even peering into the bedroom windows in search of something. Later, we had dinner in the hotel restaurant and the group continued to sing Alentejo songs and drink at the bar throughout the meal. In addition, the dishes we ordered (cod and sea bream) were salty. After dinner we went to reception and told them that we didn't want to stay at the hotel next night, arguing what I'd explained and asking for a refund for the next night we wouldn't be staying. We were told that the next day they would talk to the superior to see what the situation was. On the way back to the room we found a plague of insects near the entrance and on the outside walls of our room and the adjoining rooms. The next day we showered and smelled of chlorine, the level used in the water. At breakfast the group was still in the hotel. We went to reception and the receptionists told us that we wouldn't be refunded the €190 for the night we hadn't stayed. We left and they kept the money. Relaxation and tranquility?!?

ROOMS: very spacious with big bathroom. Big and comfortable bed, pillows for your own choice (4 different types are provided). Safe, fridge, wardrobe. There is a nice terrace as well. LOCATION: excellent countryside, here you can see many stars! 2hours drive to Lisbon. FOOD: there is a restaurant which offers good breakfast (included) and it works for a lunch and dinner as well. Breakfast is tasty: you can choose something from buffet or you can order eggs (fried or scrambled) with some ingredients like veggies or a bacon. FACILITIES: big parking zone, outdoor pool, spa with an indoor pool, gym, bikes. Good wi-fi.There are even some yoga classes, pilates and meditation time. STAFF: very friendly and welcoming.

The best hotel we stayed in on our trip to Portugal. Our room was so clean, fresh and really well designed. And the bed was super comfortable. I booked directly with the hotel and organised some massages in advance. The reception team were really quick to respond to my questions and also recommended some local wineries to visit. We also had a great dinner at the hotel restaurant. This hotel was such great value for money, my only regret is that we only had one night there!

Lovely hotel in the countryside with comfortable spacious rooms and pleasant pool area. Delightful friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. Dinner was mixed as some of the items on the plates for all of us were cold such as the meat and potatoes, (as though they'd been sitting on the pass) while vegetable accompaniments were hot. Would certainly return to the hotel but would probably eat elsewhere in the evening.

I really enjoyed my stay here! We were here for two nights in December. the place is beautiful, with lots of nature around. The facilities were excellent, I really enjoyed the indoor pool! and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. this is an amazing place to rest and reset your batteries! highlights: the breakfast with made-to-order dishes and the people working here!! they were incredibly nice and helpful!

O Hotel é Top. Melhor hotel onde já estive, desde a natureza até às instalações e limpeza, muito bom. Negativo: na descrição indica que é um bom hotel para famílias com crianças. Não é verdade. Nada está programado para crianças, muito menos dos 0 aos 3 anos. O staff do restaurante é muito amador para o tipo de hotel. Sala muito fraca, staff muito fraco e a comida demasiado cara para o tipo de comida servida. Tivemos de reservar mesa e alertei que precisávamos de cadeira para bebé. Quando chegámos responderam que havia mais crianças na sala e que era por ordem de chegada e que não havia mais cadeiras (eu marquei com cadeira portanto, a cadeira teve de aparecer, claro!!) Pedimos sopa para as miúdas e entradas para adultos. Demoram 45 min a trazer a sopa (após reclamarmos e a resposta foi “há mais crianças na sala, tem de esperar a sua vez” 30seg depois veio a sopa) As entradas ficaram pelo caminho pois 50min depois recusamos as entradas, óbvio). A comida fraca em quantidade e qualidade para o preço praticado. Conclusão: o hotel é top (não para crianças) e o restaurante é péssimo. Recomendo o hotel para dormir e relaxar na piscina mas por favor não façam as refeições no restaurante que é muito mau, a começar pelo staff que não sabe sequer falar com os clientes e pelos preços praticado com comida muito básica e nomes simpáticos.
