Hampton Inn Lexington South-Keeneland/Airport

Our king bed was broken… when asked to get it fixed or change rooms, initially we were told there was nothing they could do. We slept with the mattress on the floor. We were able to move to a double queen room, but this was upstairs, instead of the room across the hall we were originally promised. Then, the new room had items left behind by the previous guest. Used bars of soap by the sink and in the shower… bleach wipes on the counter. Packages of spoons? They did comp the first nights stay, but overall a very disappointing stay for this Hilton honors member.

The hotel has a great location with proximity to the airport and restaurants in walking distance. However the staff did not keep up with basic things like towels at the pool, enough towels or bedding in the rooms. The bathroom was not clean and smelled like body odor. The pillows were stained. The sofa bed we had was broken and would not lay flat. I was told by the front desk that the best solution was to put the mattress on the floor.

I think first and foremost, it needs to be mentioned that this hotel is in a safe, nice, developed area. There should be absolutely no concern about the area you will be staying. I feel this is incredibly important and a wonderful thing. The hotel is clean, very clean. The room we had is huge, a whole lot of space, for certain you will not be cramped as you you to move about the room. Did I mention that the hotel and room is basically spotless. The night we stayed there was a very large amount of kids, which goes even further to show it’s a nice hotel, clean and in a good location. There is an indoor pool, as I saw people swimming in it. I highly recommend you trust this hotel with your family, if you are staying in the Lexington area, I think you will be pleased and glad you did. The price we payed for one night was very reasonable and well worth every penny. I easily give this hotel five stars and will not hesitate to gladly stay here again.

Great hospitality and excellent breakfast. Friendly staff. Strange that the amenities are not updated. Dirty pool (mold on the sides). No smart TVs even though the QR code takes you to a website that gives instructions on how to watch Netflix. Be aware of the surprise parking fees. Not listed on the Hilton app or onsite anywhere.

Slept well. Breakfast was quite good. Could have used more lighting in room. Receptionist was knowledgeable and friendly. Room was very clean. Shower was nice as well as the sink area. Grateful for the night light in the bathroom. Refrigerator didn't work.

The bathtub was so slow to drain that my fast shower was standing in 6” of water. How do you not realize there is an issue when they are cleaning said tub? When I let the front desk know when we were checking out, I received a blank stare. Other than that it was an uneventful stay.

Staff was excellent,very professional and knowledgeable about the area. Room was large and comfortable. Delicious breakfast with a lot of options. Can't wait to stay again when I visit Lexington in the future.

Rooms are not cleaned even when requested. Rude and condescending employees. Excuses given, no results. No manager on duty. Being a Diamond member, this hotel knows very little about customer service and what is expected from a credible establishment. I have made a formal complaint about this Hilton property to both corporate and the hotel itself.

It’s the most welcome I’ve ever felt at any hotel. The staff was phenomenal. The breakfast was amazing. Asia, Greg, and Sharron made this stay one of our best. We will be coming back if we need to stay in this city again.
