We really enjoyed our stay. The property is very pretty, and our rooms were beautifully decorated. The staff is super sweet and very easy to communicate with. The spa is also lovely (the official close time is very early but they let us use it later anyway) and I loved the indoor salt water pool. The sea runs a bit colder here due to the vruje, but I think it’s probably fine during the season. The beach area seemed a bit small but wasn’t a problem for us given there were few guests. The food was truly exceptional! Every single meal was just fantastic. The wines were great as well. We loved hiking the Velebit mountain. (One note of caution for the bad drivers like me: the road to get to the property is very steep and narrow.)

Veladrion is a beautiful hotel with excellent staff and facilities designed for rest and pleasure. The room was big enough, beautifully decorated with fantastic welcome gifts (dry figs, chocolate, fruit...) and a view of the sea (which is a few steps from the hotel). To present to what extent they go with the details – there was handwritten welcome note from the hotel manager and a card with a name of housekeepers who were responsible to keep the room tidy. Veladrion won me over the most with its gastronomic offer and the chef (Filip Akrap), who works wonders with local ingredients. Before each course, the chef explained to us what he had prepared and where the ingredients he used came from (that's how I know it's local). The offer of spirits and wine list is superb and adapted for everyone's taste. The property surrounding the hotel is enough for people who like a more active holiday and long walks, and there are many interesting locations in the area that you can visit (I recommend Zavratnica bay). By my experience, this is a hotel that offers more than others in this price range. Definitely a place I will go back to

One of the best hotles I ever been staying. The villa is locatd in a megical location near the sea. Completely new facility. The room was extremely large with very big & comfortable bed & small balcony. The same were the toilets. This hotel is dedicated only for romantic couples. We have been treated cordially & well. We had dinner at the hotel. Don't miss it. Recommending the toutes from the nearby river prapered specially & in front of you. The brekfast was amazing & very special. We have been treated by Antonia -- a charming girl. I would have given this hotel the highest record, but we were unable to use the indoor pool & Jacuzzi becuse the water was too cold. we brought this issue to the villa management attention. This is the only reason we are recording this hotel as"very good" instead of "excellent".

Amazing experience, great hotel with great location and beautiful rooms. Stuff was so nice and at our disposal for everything. Location and nature arround hotel is amazing. Food is brilliant based on local specialties and at the top level that gives amazing experience, and combined with top vines it just wow!

Beautiful experience and a relaxing vacation in nature. The staff was very nice and friendly and the room was modern, clean and luxourious. We loved the breakfast experience and drinking mimosas with a view. All food was excellent. Definitely a 5+ star luxury experience.

Der Service ist ausserordentlich zuvorkommend, freundlich und kompetent. Das Personal ist aussergewöhnlich freundlich und liest die Wünsche von den Augen ab. Das Restaurant bietet lokale auserwählte Produkte, die zu raffinierten Gerichten verarbeitet werden. Es ist ein kleines Paradies für alle, die es sich gut gehen lassen und die Seele baumeln lassen möchten.

Hier passt einfach alles, Hotellerie at the very High End ! Und wenn das ganze dann noch von den Menschen hier in allen Servicebereichen authentisch und gefühlt von Herzen kommt, kann man die Seele baumeln lassen und einfach loslassen für ein paar Tage. Ja das Meer ist hier in der Bucht sehr erfrischend, aber für Schnorchler dafür auch alles andere als langweilig. Wir hatten Halbpension und konnten uns jeden Abend an köstlichen und kreativen Menükreationen erfreuen. Insbesondere auch die zentrale Lage mit den vielen kleineren und größeren Tagesausflugsmöglichkeiten lässt auch bei einem etwas längeren Aufenthalt nie Langeweile aufkommen. Die Spaziergänge auf dem Resortgelände, insbesondere zu den Aussichtpunkten auf das Meer, empfanden wir ergänzend als tolle Option zur "sportlichen" Betätigung. Wir können das Veladrion für alle die es sich leisten wollen nur wärmstens empfehlen.
