On peut seulement dire qu'il s'agit d'une opération monopolistique et que la salle de 1 000 personnes est très petite. La chambre avait une forte odeur de désinfectant. Le climatiseur était comme un moteur. On m'a donné une salle de transport. Au milieu de la nuit, le voisin a ouvert la porte et a frappé fort. On disait que le petit-déjeuner commençait à 16 heures, mais quand je suis allé manger à 17h30, il n'y avait que du pain et des œufs brouillés. L'avantage est qu'il est très proche et que vous pouvez y accéder juste après avoir quitté l'aéroport. De nos jours, le Pérou a une réglementation très stricte. Vous devez présenter votre carte d'embarquement et vos documents pour entrer dans l'aéroport. Si vous regrettez de ne pas avoir de vacances programmées, ni d'hôtel en ville, vous pouvez y réfléchir si vous osez prendre l'avion très tôt et accepter les autres.

This is my second use of Hotel Diamond. In my first review I regarded it as ”exceptional,” and there is no change in that evaluation! Another great stay. Since my 2021 visit, they have opened up a breakfast buffet on the fourth floor (complimentary). It's excellent. And the view . . . the only place I know of where you can get a glimpse of two grand colonial courtyards (of convents/monasteries), along with a wonderful cluster of colonial church domes. Just a great hotel--friendly staff, efficient and well-cared for, updated rooms, superb location. A winner of winners!

This is not a 5 star hotel experience. Clearly the rooms need some modernisation. There is for example only fans and no temperature control air con. Our bedroom only had one bedside table. When we changed rooms things didn’t work and we had to get them fixed. However staff were very helpful. The bed was comfortable and there was a good sized wardrobe and shower. We had lounge access which was a much smaller area than we are used to and served a very limited food and beverage selection, however Oscar was a great host and did everything possible to make our experience better. We went to the gym but a lot of the equipment was faulty. It is limited but one treadmill out of the three had a non functioning ramp. All of the cross trainers were not working properly. We also had a meal in the restaurant which was average but again friendly staff. Thank you also to Clara who realised our experience had not been great.

We picked the hotel because it has triple rooms and it’s reviews. However it’s not the great hotel reviewed 2 and 3 years ago. The good points for the hotel are the employees especially Tanya. The hotel is very clean and the location is great. Breakfast is below par. Only one cup and one hand towel was provided to a room despite the fact that we were 5. The espresso machine did not have cup or capsules for use. No water bottle was provided. It feel management looked to cut cost were posible.

Le prix de l'hôtel est pas bon, le petit déjeuner est réglementé et il n'y a pas de problème pour manger pendant deux jours. La taille de la chambre est également conforme au prix. L'hôtel est dans la zone de l'ambassade, la nuit est très calme. Si vous voulez manger chinois, vous devez toujours prendre un bus pour sortir pour manger. Plusieurs repas chinois à proximité sont une version améliorée

Il est interdit de recevoir une visite quelconque dans sa chambre. Ce qui est malhonnête, c'est qu'on découvre cela quand il est trop tard pour annuler. Le petit déjeuner est extrêmement cher pour ce qu'il est, mais en cela cet hôtel ne se différencie pas des autres hôtels à Lima actuellement, malheureusement.

Summary: a very good hotel that gets its core mission right, with minor room for improvement to get a perfect score next time. The good: Staff: all staff I encountered from security at the front door to the check-in and restaurant/bar staff were excellent. All FOH staff spoke good to excellent English. A special thanks to Diego at the front desk for being especially friendly and going above and beyond to help me manage multiple reservations I had booked for this property, allowing me to stay in my original room and not have to check out and back in. Thanks also to Henry from the bar/restaurant for his warm and friendly service that made me feel especially welcome and valued. The room: what a fantastic room. Hotel is relatively new and as you’d expect the room is modern, with a seperate desk space for working and plentiful AC and USB charging points for your devices. A very modern bathroom with high pressure rainfall shower and seperate toilet behind a floor to ceiling frosted door. Food/drink: food and drink was excellent, plenty of local and western choices. Not local or authentic by any means but the ‘Texas Burger’ and ‘BBQ Wings’ wouldn’t be out of place at any high quality US diner. Location: hotel is in a safe, quiet pocket of Miraflores within walking distance to the beach, Kennedy park, Lacomar mall and Barranco. There are bus stops nearby if you wish to go to the Lima historic centre. The bad: The bedding: this seems like such an oversight, but the bedding was terrible. Tiny small pillows that are reminiscent of the ones you get given on airplanes and a scratchy blanket that brought back memories from school camp. This seems like an easy one to fix. Noisy: half way through my stay I got some noisy neighbours in the next room and you could hear their conversations clear as day through the wall. So be aware so this may be an issue. Fortunately in my case they went quiet at night time and my sleep wasn’t impacted. Smoking: while this is a smoke free property, the smoking area is right by the front door so you often have to walk through a plume of smoke to enter the property. Please consider moving the smoking area to the other side of the driveway. Conclusion: A very good hotel. If I return to Limq, this would likely be my first choice. This property is better than many Hilton (main brand) I’ve stayed at.
