LR Guest House

The most remarkable and important thing to stay at LR Guest House was the staff Including Antonio and Diego. They were excellent in many ways including serving us good breakfast everyday and it was really delicious. The room was clean all the time and gave us great room service as well. I specially like to thank to Antonio and Diego who help me to make reservation of Fado restaurant in Lisbon so that we could enjoy Portuguese traditional Fado music at the final day of our stay. And also Diego help me to have a private tour to look around Cascais and Cabo Da Roca which was wonderful as well. I have stayed 4 nights from 20th of Sep to 24th of Sep 2023. I definitely like to comeback again to stay at LR Guest House with my children in the future.

We ve just stayed at the delightful guest house, I’ve never stayed anywhere like it. The taxi had to drop us in the next street and we walked down a cobblestone passage to Rue de Norte and there we found a big green door. You walk in to an old property and up some stone stairs and the guest house is on the first floor, we were greeted by a lovely young lady who checked us in. The rooms are all different and beautifully restored, everything you need is available and all the staff are fabulous. There is a winter garden where you can sit and socialise with an honesty bar. The “farmhouse style “ kitchen is where you sit and have breakfast. As reviews have mentioned earlier, it’s great. There is also a snack or piece of cake throughout the day at no extra charge. Some rooms have an external bathroom- this means your own private bathroom but it isn’t inside your room, gowns and slippers are included. We had a wonderful few days and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending it. Thank you António and all your staff 🥰

A wonderful welcome in this centrally located guest house. The rooms are beautifully appointed , clean and lack nothing. The amenities are amazing from a fantastic breakfast on a communal table with special order items, sandwiches during the day and a patio with beverages. The staff is available for local information. We hope to return some day .

We LOVED the LR Guesthouse! It was such a unique experience. It's a small place with only 7 rooms. We had the best room that also had its own private patio. The staff were amazing. They made you feel right at home. Breakfast each morning was made to order, whatever you want. There were fresh baked goods, cappuccino, eggs, bacon, pancakes, anything you could want. They also had an outdoor patio area for guests that had a self service bar. A fridge stocked with drinks you could have anytime, and then just put money in the tip jar. We meet most of the other guests at breakfast which was very fun. The location is great. You can walk most places or else the Baixa-Chiado metro station was about 4 blocks away. Loved it!

I stayed three nights in LR Guest House with the children. What an experience, I really suggest everybody to book there. The place is just wonderful, clean and I can't even use nic eadjectives to descrive the team. The team is just fantastic, so nice, so cute, so gentle and helpful. If you decide to book here, just remember that you will feel like home, it will be difficult to leave it. Thank you so much for everything, it was just great and perfect.

The accommodation, the location, the staff etc etc cannot be faulted. Everyone was super helpful, catered to requirements and nothing was too difficult to ask. To complete the stay…the breakfast was one of the best I’ve ever had on all my travels. I highly recommend this quest house and will stay again when I return to Lisbon.

This little place is one of the loveliest guest houses I have ever stayed in. The rooms are beautiful and the warm welcome and care you receive during your stay is fantastic, after check in I received a list of suggestions for restaurants and places of interest and when they found out I was vegetarian they sent another list of suggestions to me, attention to detail is amazing. Breakfast is cooked to order and they even have an honour bar that you can use. I would highly recommend staying here as the location is perfect and very central. Well done Dioggo and your team you really made my first trip to Portugal a memorable experience, Wonderful!

Me and my friend cannot speak high enough about this place. They really made our stay in Lisbon top notch! I liked Lisbon and all but I totally want to come back here just for this place. First of all the customer service is way above and beyond. I stay at a lot of Marriotts and Hyatts and this was by far way better! They make you feel like family here! I recently had a shoulder injury, and when I asked for ice in a Ziploc bag, they had no problem finding some for me and the next night they had one ready in the freezer! They really go above and beyond! Also, another example is, I left my retainer and really nice retainer case there and when I emailed them about it, they said yes I had left it there and would I like them to mail it to me. I said yes, and they broke down the cost from post office and didn’t even charge me extra for the extra work. Just what it cost to mail it back to me. I really appreciated that as we all know retainers and cases do not come cheap. The location is also a great area as well as you are in Bairro Alto area and close to the nightlife, bars, restaurants, and the seafront. Tourist spots are walkable. The amount of space that you get in your room is crazy Amazing for a place in Europe! Water pressure and temperature is great. AC worked great! And they have an outdoor patio That’s really pretty to sit outside. they have a bar on the outside too that you could serve yourself and then just tip or reimburse later if you wanted to. Breakfasts in the morning were amazing! They had an amazing spread out. Oh my God, I’m dreaming of the jam! Lots of bread, choices, and some of those pasteis plus they would make you anything you wanted. Eggs, bacon sausage French toast, waffles omelettes you name it they’ll make it fresh. So good! They truly are amazing here. If you don’t stay here when in Lisbon what are you doing with your life?

From our first contact with the Guest House we were impressed with the high level of personal care given to each of our requests. The manager personally helped us with incredible dinner reservations and the personalized cooked breakfast!
