Mota Hotel

Mota is our home from home in Livigno. Spacious rooms with central heating and top notch finishes not to mention the view. Location is perfect so close to the ski-lifts and the center of town. The half board option is amazing and breakfast and dinner is delicious with a great selection to feast on. The Mota family welcomes you with open arms with staff going out of their way to make your stay unforgettable. We will be back, again, and again.

"Highly disappointing! If you're considering staying at this hotel, I strongly advise against it. Opt for BOOKING instead! This ensures you'll receive the service you paid for. I made the error of reaching out to the hotel directly. Despite being offered a great room, upon arrival, they provided a different one and attempted to convince me that it matched my payment. Should you decide to stay, exercise caution in the spa; a foot sprain might be met with the response: "Watch your step." (refer to the attached pictures). Lastly, be prepared for disruptive noise; children screaming and loud music until 11:00 pm. When questioned, the reception casually mentioned a restaurant birthday party. This is more of a hostel experience than a hotel. Livigno boasts many excellent hotels where your money is better spent, and you're valued as a tourist. Unfortunately, Hotel Mota no longer falls into that category."

Truly amazing experience. The best staff. The best facilities. The best food. The best location. 10 out of 10 from me. I will stay here again for sure. This family owned hotel updates itself every year with great success. Love it.

It is very difficult to give an impression of this hotel because nothing is out of place.... really! From the reception to the SPA team, not forgetting the restaurant staff, we found a high level of professionalism with a sincere and warm attention to guests. Mrs. Daniela, at the reception with the two girls (one of them is the lovely Martina), reserves the same warm attention to the new and habitual guests. They are very available to suggest a lot of attractions and activities to do there, always with a smile. When you enter the restaurant, the Maitre de Sale welcomes you with his energy and enthusiasm, but also with a sincere attention. The same goes for all the staff, young but well prepared to meet all your needs. A very high level of professionalism: well done! The menu offers a rich choice of courses, which are skilfully prepared and very tasty. The same goes for the wine list: the choice is so wide. If you decide to have an experience at the SPA, Greta and Simone are at your complete disposal, first of all to suggest the best treatments you might need, and then to take care of you with their skilled and powerful (but delicate) hands. The room: the one we had was large, sunny and comfortable. There are plenty of wardrobes, and shelves for storing the clothes. The bathroom, with its own balcony (in addition to the main one), was spacious and had a Jacuzzi. To sum up, this is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. We have had a really relaxing and recharging holiday. Thank you all.

Very comfortable hotel in the heart of Livigno, opposite the festive Bivio. Friendly staff, nice rooms and good service. Breakfasts are fantastic and varied. The apres deck in the evenings is lovely and warm with yummy snacks. We had a great week together.

Great location. Friendly reception staff. Clean rooms. Unfortunately poor service from the waiters in both the bar area and restaurants. There is a bar/casual area where one can eat only certain items. I tried to order a simple meal for my daughter and I was told I could only eat and order what she wants at the main “formal restaurant”. The distance between these 2 areas is about 30 meters. I fail to understand why this simple request can not be accommodated.

Unfortunately, not even one night could we fall asleep before 2-3 hours at night and because of that we were forced to leave the hotel earlier. Actually, the rooms according to Hotel Bivio are practically unusable, if one wants to come on vacation. Otherwise, the location of the hotel is excellent and the service is quite ok (if you ignore the lack of interest of the receptionist in our problem of a very noisy room).

Perfect location in the centre - close to shopping area and close to skilifts, hotel with nice spa and relax area. Excelent cuisine and very good stocked wine cellar. Plesant staff. Best place for ralax.
