The glamping tent is very nice but it's a bit dangerous in that some of the boards on the porches and patios are in a deteriorated state with some broken or about to break . The staff at the restaurants are great but the receptionist needs a class in friendliness. The food was ok but very pricey especially for the quality. Unfortunately it was overcast so we didn't get to see the stars. We drove from Bogotá and the last 2 hours are on very rough roads. I do not recommend that drive unless you're very comfortable driving in latin America. Riding bikes in the dessert was awesome. The dessert is very hot and the hotel has no fans in the lobby. The glamping tents had one fan which was great. No electricity at night so be ready to disconnect.

Worst Service I have received in a hotel in my life. We stayed there for two days in the Sol section which are the smaller tents. The staff was never paying attention to us or asking us if we needed anything. Every single time we would have to go look for them, to find them on they cel behind the bar or around the main dinning room just sitting around. Keep in mind that from the 20+ cabins only 5 where occupied so its not like they where busy. Also the pricing is different depending who you ask and where you look as the prices shown on the menu dont always match with what they charge you and they can vary considerably. (example, we where told that a bottle of grey goose was $780,000 colombian pesos and in the menu it said $400,000 colombian pesos which is almost half of what they wanted to charge us). The staff completely ignored us the whole stay. never came to pick up empty glasses or dirty dishes. The quality of the food is ok but its always cold as the servers take for ever to pick it up from the kitchen. One of the nights we had arribed from a tour and asked for towels that they had taken from our room and where told that they dont have acces to towels and that we had to wait until the next day if we wanted to take a shower!!! unacceptable on a "luxury hotel". after a long discussion with the staff and seeing that they didn't care, we ended up getting towels from a room that wasn't occupied. On the first night we had to ask three different times for an extra pillow (they would say, yes and never come back) until they where able to provide one. Only two people during our whole stay where courteous to us from the 10+ we had contact with during our 2 night stay. This is unacceptable from an hotel that charges so much and is supposed to be a luxury experience. The showers barely have water pressure for you to shower. The noise around the rooms early in the morning by the staff talking and laughing loudly makes it hard to get a good rest. The worst part is that this is very sad because the installations themselves and location is very nice, but the bad service can ruin the experience.

We stayed 4 days in this hotel and the truth is that it is too expensive for what it really offers; the liqueurs with which they make the cocktails are very cheap, and the structures of the rooms are too precarious, for example we arrived at a room called earth and the door didn’t close completely and the heat was unbearable; so we made the upgraded for stars and the air conditioning didn’t work until 7 pm, but there was a problem the spaces were too open so that it could cool the room a bit In the hotel you cannot rent ATVs as they offer on their website, all are services external to the hotel as well as the other activities in the desert… In conclusion there are better and cheaper places in Villa Vieja as the town is called, this is just advertising nothing more

The architecture is amazing, the views, the service, the places, good food, there’s a lot of things to do. Also is one of the best places in the world to see the stars. If you go with your friended you can party, drink a couple of good cocktails and enjoy an amazing Dj.

First of all there is nothing luxurious about it. Some of the huts or so called beds are falling app apart . The employees are very very rude and the food its as bad as everything else . As soon as you come in the person that is at the entrance at the parking lot it's extremely rude 😂😂😂😂never seen such attitude in any other hotel . Seriously don't waste your money 🤑 at this place, there is much better hotels in Villavieja and cheaper with AC and everything ... Take care guys and enjoy Tatacoa !!!

Pésimo servicio La atención malísima Comida regular Jamás atienden al cliente. Parece que fuera regalado Estuve desde el día lunes 24 y el martes a la comida, después de haber ordenado informan que perdieron la orden y no saben que se pidió 🫣

Llegue al hotel y Tannia la recepcionista me recibió con gran amabilidad lo cual que hizo sentir tranquila, como viajaba sola y había escogido una habitación bastante alejada, ella me dio la opción de mirar la que había elegido y me ofreció otra de igual calidad pero en otra zona donde tendría el bar y la piscina del hotel mas cerca y eso me encantó! La atención genial todos muy amables de principio a fin! Una experiencia genial!!!! Recomendado al 100%

Terrible atención, nos tocó solicitar cambio de habitación, nos entregaron una horrible el baño sicio asqueroso con popo La peor parte de la atención los de la recepción, solxitamos un tour y estuvimos una hora esperando el recepción Para el desayuno salimos 7am y estaba todo tirado, sucio del día anterior sin recoger basuras y botellas Solicité transporte al aeropuerto y jamás me ayudaron, salimos antes de las 6am y nadie nos transportó tuvimos que caminar hasta la portería q es bastante lejos y oscuro porq tampoco tiene iluminación. Está demasiado valorado para lo es y es una lástima porq es muy bonito De rescatar la comida es rica o lo q pedimos estuvo de buen sabor Jamás volveré y jamás lo recomendaría

Mi hermana estuvo hospedada del 3 al 5 de noviembre 2023; califica el hotel con una estrella y eso porque la comida le pareció buena. De resto, no le gustó y no lo recomienda por: - Habitación con goteras; al otro día les tocó moverla a otra habitación. - Después de la 9pm no hay nadie, solo el celador. - No tienen suficientes vehículos para subir o bajar a la recepción cuanto hay tour. - No dan solución a lo relatado antes, solo que así es y punto. - De hotel ecológico no tiene nada... altísimo el volumen de la música todo el día, provocado por personas que "alquilan" una parte de la recepción.. o sea afectan la fauna y la flora con los elevados niveles de ruido. - El desayuno es a partir de las 8am, pero lo sirven mas tarde... si uno tiene tour le toca comer afanado.
