I can’t say how much I really like this hotel - it was brilliant and hidden gem. I can’t recommend it enough. Value for money is just fantastic for London. It was off the main road but not miles away where it felt dangerous or too far from amenities. The main things that really impressed me with this hotel: Getting the fundamentals right - this hotel is not a 5 star hotel and doesn’t pretend to be but absolutely nails the fundamentals of its price range and rating. Everywhere is clean, the lobby has all that is required, large space, food and drink bar. It’s also a lovely space to work if you are looking to do that. The rooms were very clean, modern and had all the essentials. The set up of the rooms were excellent. The bed was in an alcove very comfortable with a large tv facing the bed - such a well thought out room layout. Reception staff were very welcoming and attentive. They were very helpful and really nice. The room was lovely and quiet - considering how noisy the surrounding areas were, this hotel really benefits from being off the main road as it is lovely and quiet at night. The air con in the room is fantastic and works brilliantly.

Nice hotel with friendly staff and everything good and clean and new. Breakfast was OK but not spectacular. Nice location close to tube and bus stops. Nice restaurants abound. Great value. Would recommend. TV was a little idiosyncratic but got used to it.

Very nice stay, Chris from nightshift really professional and welcoming. Looked after us throughout the night. Location Close to the station and great nightlife by Shoreditch. Breakfast could do with some improving but overall we enjoyed our stay.

We understand that this hotel was recently opened, and everything was very clean everywhere. The staff were excellent, and the room was good. Breakfast was very good. The room was an "accessible" category with a wet room shower, and all facilities for less able people. In this respect the shower flooded the floor (I'm told often found in this type of room at many hotels) as the floor slopes away from the shower, which I would suggest is poor build or design. (I mopped it up). I would book a walk-in shower in future, and hope that details and dimensions are available when choosing.

Beautiful and very clean hotel but they accidentally charged me twice the sum of the entire stay and I can't contact them, writing to them on booking they answered me only after a negative review telling me that they have evaded the refund but, checking I realised that it was done on the wrong card. I wrote to him to point it out and they're not answering me again, I don't know how it will end but for sure I can't say that it was a good experience. They have to change the reception seat management because this is not a nice behaviour

As a frequent business traveler, I've had a multitude of experiences with hotel accommodations spanning North America and Europe. I can say without reservation (pun intended) that my weeklong stay at this newly opened hotel was the one of the best lodging experiences I've had in recent memory. The rooms as well as the common areas are well designed, both aesthetically and functionally. The complimentary breakfast is among the best I've seen. But by far, the most impressive "amenity" I witnessed was the extraordinarily attentive, courteous, and efficient staff. I was particularly impressed with Mohammed and Karl, who collaborated throughout the week to ensure that my stay was both comfortable and productive. I was in town to present to a live audience in the City for a couple days, but also needed to do multi-hour live/virtual webinars for other clients in North America throughout the week, so the easy-to-reserve and well-appointed 1st floor Meeting Room with fast WiFi became an important and much appreciated facet of my stay. Bottom line, I'd wholeheartedly recommend this hotel for both business and leisure travelers. Frankly, it's a "6" on a scale of 1 to 5 given its exception price point compared to other hotels in the City. Kudos to the management and staff.

We stayed here for one night on Tuesday 20th Feb in rooms 302 & 306. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from Old Street station - you turn right just passed the Sainsburys local shop and it is just around the corner. We checked in around 4pm - the 2 members of staff who checked us in were very polite, friendly and helpful. The rooms were a very good size with a huge TV opposite the bed and a seating area with fridge and 2 bottles of complimentary water in the room. The shower room was a good size and the shower was a double unit so plenty of room to move with a rain shower and a hand held attachment which could be taken off the wall. There is good quality shower gel, shampoo and conditioner in the shower and handwash and body wash by the sink. There is a hairdryer and iron/ironing board in the room. Tea & coffee is also provided. The double bed was very comfortable with high quality bed linen Breakfast was included - there was plenty of choice. Cereals, fresh fruit, yogurt, muffins, croissants, bread, jams, marmalade, orange or apple juice, selection of teas and coffee. The hot selection included bacon. beans, eggs, sausage, mushrooms and tomato and was all very tasty. Cannot fault the service at this hotel and it is all spotless. Check in was very efficient. The room card is required to use the lift from the ground floor - this did seem to be a bit hit and miss and sometimes we had to scan it 4 or 5 times before it worked.
