St Mark Hotel

Good location and service with breakfast for not so high price. I have no photo of the room but it was as the same as in booking

The hotel's location is very close to Earl's court train station and neighborhood is fine, but the hotel itself is not clean. The carpet is dirty, the room itself also needs quite a bit of love. I am not picky with hotel aesthetics, but this hotel really needs some work. They have free breakfast though which comprise of cereals, bread, cheese, ham, egg, coffee and juice that are your basic continental breakfast spread.

When we have arrived we’ve realised the place looks totally worse comparing to what’s shown on the pictures, the hygiene and cleanliness of the hotel was horrible, bedding was dirty, same with pillows and loads of mold in the room. Very basic food provided, and the glasses were dirty too. I would not recommend this hotel to anymore! Service was not very good too - when we were eating the woman from the kitchen gave us not very nice stare.

Horrible horrible place ! The inside of the rooms is disgusting I’ve stayed in hostels better than this. There’s damp and mould all along the floor and windows. Every room I saw upon asking for a room change is even worse than the first room. I had to drink so much just to get through the night there.

So far the location is quite convenience and the wifi provided is strong!

Stayed for one night with my partner and daughter. Filthy, awful hotel. You are met with quite possibly the filthiest carpet ever going up the stairs. The stairwells have a selection of hoovers, hoover parts, put you up beds etc scattered around. The room itself was clean enough, the bedlinen and towels were clean, but no mattress covers on the bed. We had a very dirty fan on the wall to circulate the air, and an opening French door onto a small window ledge. Unfortunately this was full of water with odd bits of rubbish floating in it. The bathroom was serviceable, the shower was good, but the plug hole cover in the shower tray wasn’t attached. There was a selection of toiletries thrown into the small bathroom vanity unit. The room had a small fridge in it, with milk cartons chucked in the back of it, but it was dirty and we didn’t fancy using it to store anything in. We didn’t try the breakfast after reading all the other reviews, we just wanted to get out. Such a shame, because the location is brilliant. Minutes from Earls Court tube and a really quiet road, but it just needs so much doing to it to make it an acceptable place for the public to stay. Definitely wasn’t worth the money we had to pay for the one night, and won’t be returning or recommending to anyone else.

my wife and 9 year old daughter chose to spend two nights here in August based on a tight budget and reasonably close proximity to Earls Court tube station. So the hotel gets a solitary score for its quiet but handy locatio. They had to struggle up 4 flights of stairsas there was no lift. The room was filthy dirty There were stains on the mattress and cracks on the portable fan. The TV was small and the remote didn't work. The room was stifiling hot and there were cockroaches in the bathroom. Breakfast was included but consisted of a slice of mouldy looking ham and a hard boiled egg.. Quite honestly we couldn't get back to Euston fast enough. and home to the Midlands. A harsh lesson was learnt about the cheapest not always providing best value.

Walked into a lobby that hadnt been hoovered and a sign saying no air con. First impressions were that it would be dirty however the room wasn't too bad apart from the filthy cushions. I wouldn't darent have used the microwave, but I'm sure that and the fridge would come in handy for someone. Breakfast was depressing... Couldn't wait to leave in the morning. Giving it a 2 for location.
