Have stayed here before but this is the first time I have been disappointed. It is a residence but this time I found mold in the shower. Sp**** towels were initially provided and the bath mat is made of paper! Shampoo was good but the vegetable based soap, although I appreciate the effort, did not really sud. Breakfast was awful. Croissant and hash browns were the only decent part.

We brought five French friends with us. The wellcome was friendly and we were all given instructions on how things worked. The rooms were bright clean and airy and the beds totally adequate. The Full English breakfast is on of the best we've had in any hotel? The croissants impressed our French friends...Praise indeed. Centrally located I am sure we will be back.

If only there was drinking water instead of an unhygienic disused coffee machine in the reception which emits a stream of warm water for you to fill your bottle then take back to your room up four floors- that is the only water available. The heat in the room, even now in September, is terrible even with a cheap fan trained directly into your face. So with no drinking water and an overwhelmingly hot room, choosing to stay here depends on yourtolerance level. Oh, and other people slam their doors so dont’t stay here if you can’t bear that sort of disturbance either.

Please avoid this student accommodation at all costs. The rooms are small very hot, fusty smelling and just not worth the money. The bathrooms are not fit for purpose, the water pressure and temperature are very unsatisfactory and the beds are very uncomfortable. If you have any concerns or problems the staff just wash there hands with it and refuse to help or solve problems. The only positive thing I can say is the location is good for the Royal Albert Hall but that's it. A very horrible experience.

Superb 5 star location. Reception staff fantastic from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. Cleanliness excellent. Student bar superb with best prices in London, with Excellent bar staff. Room comfortable and well looked after. All in All excellent value, will definitely return Thankyou.

Was allocated a single ensuite room which on entering had a distinct smell of urine. Complained and was given an alternative room. Second room as the first looked on to a red brick wall which actually was only vaguely visible as the window hadn't been cleaned for many months, possibly not this year. The said window was only able to be opened a few centimetres at the top resulting in an unbearably hot airless room. A fan was provided but only circulated the hot air and made no difference. The one little wooden drinks stirrer ( no spoons ) and one "paper bath" mat for a four day stay would have been laughable if not such an insult.

Be careful when you book with this hotel. They overbook and then try to make up some lame excuse to refuse your reservation. When I then cancelled my reservation because I was not able to contact them due to their Mickey Mouse operation, I cancelled and rebooked somewhere else.

A bit spartan, even for University student accommodation. Ideal location for our visit to the Albert Hall, which we could see from our window. Only a 50 yard walk. It is also very well placed for the whole street of museums. Only real complication is that there was no drinking water in the room you had to go to Reception for water for the kettle. There is also a student union bar in the quad which we enjoyed using after our Proms visit. Really helpful reception staff, particularly the cheerful Connie.

This is not your usual hotel. The Imperial College has dorms or lodging for students that it opens to the public as a hotel. So the rooms are suited for monk like studying and not much more. Shower is maybe 3x3. Closet is spacious for a 17year old jock. I liked it for two reasons. Price and location. I hated it because the local student pub is LOUD.
