A wonderful room in the quiet annex with private car park and huge bathroom. Very comfortable and clean with a fridge and tea maker. Excellent dinners and eggs Benny for breakfast……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..

Evening meal excellent and staff very friendly however the room left a lot to be desired with mould on walls and the bath was badly chipped. Perhaps I should have expected dogs in a country pub but the number of dogs in the bar and restaurant area was over whelming.I think guests should be made aware of this fact and Whilst eating there was a constant stream of large and small canines walking past our table and together with the barking I am afraid we would not return.

Very friendly hotel. Had a lovely weekend at this very friendly and accommodating hotel. Nothing was too much trouble and the staff went out of their way to make our staff perfect. Breakfast was amazing too. Thank you and hopefully see you soon

Just experienced an excellent Sunday lunch, at The Falcon- tomato soup perfect, calamari, duck Bon Bon’s along with shrimps including a chilli/ Mayo dip , fresh salad , garlic mushroom with Parmesan flakes all 10/10 . Mains Roast Pork, Rib of Beef , and a trio of meats. All with Fresh yorkies , Rosties cauliflower cheese greens and carrot along with a Bottle of French Merlot . A credit to The Kitchen , along with ALL staff even the gardener 😉. Keep up the good work and home to see you again soon. The Moorcroft’s

What a wonderful place. Went to stay for 1 night and ended up staying for 9! Amazing staff, happy, friendly and unbelievably helpful. Beautiful food - breakfast is one of, if not, the best I've ever had. Not a bad word to say about this place - I will definitely be back!

What an amazing little hotel/pub. Rooms were nice and clean. Food (we had breakfast and dinner) was extremely good with generous portions. And the service was excellent!! Would highly recommend hotel and the pub/restaurant!! Management went out to of their way to make us feel welcome.

Beautiful room looking out on a peaceful courtyard to one side and open fields to the other - the staff were pleasant and friendly and made you feel nothing was too much trouble. Delicious breakfast. Very much hope to visit again.

Don’t hesitate to book The Falcon if you are looking to stay in the area. We stayed in room 5. Four poster bed, lovely big bathroom with every toiletry you could wish for, Yorkshire tea bags, coffee, hot chocolate, fresh orange, water provided. TV with Netflix and Freeview, heater to warm the room to your own requirement. The best breakfast I’ve ever had in a b&b. Lovely warm welcome and great food and atmosphere in the evening. Thank you Suzanne & Ian, you are doing a great job x

Dined and stayed at the Falcon Inn this October for two nights. First impressions were very good. The food and Tiger beer were very good. Staff were pleasant and efficient. However in room 2 where we stayed the bathroom was poor. The extractor fan didn't work (full of dust) and the bath was severely chipped. Not a pleasant sight. The bathroom itself was clean except for mould on the wall near the extractor and there were a few cobwebs. The bedroom was fine except for the quilt which was too thick. In my opinion faults like what I have mentioned above should have been resolved sooner as obviously they have been present for a long time. I did report the extractor fan not working.
