Palm View Guesthouse, Adults Only

The most perfect place to stay in Luz set up on the hill. The 2 owners cant do enough for you and their breakfast is to die for. They have a lovely pool and all the rooms are individual the only downside is that one of the room's bathroom is downstairs but I was with my stepmother and we shared her bathroom opposite which was great. all in all there was no problem at all and I would definitely suggest everyone should stay there.

Best accommodation we‘ve had for years. Lovely, clean and cozy place with two wonderful and friendly hosts. Really nice furnishing with lots of details, a great bed which feels like sleeping on a cloud. Outdoor kitchen with a fridge full of drinks and snacks. 10/10, we strongly recommend this place. Nothing to complain about.

Last month my husband and I spent 5 days at this wonderful guest house and it is truly exceptional. The owners and hosts, Jonas and Thomas, have obviously carefully considered every last detail in establishing Palm View and all aspects of the guest house are tastefully done with guests ultimate comfort in mind. Our bedroom was perfect with a marvellous view across the pool and beyond to the coast and the pool area was the epitome of relaxation. The inclusive breakfast looked delicious and plentiful (although my husband and I tend to skip breakfast on holiday for a lie in!). The guest house is in a fantastic location within easy reach of Luz by foot but far enough away for complete quiet and tranquility. Nothing was too much trouble for Jonas and Thomas; they gave great recommendations for local restaurants and all kinds of other useful tips. We HIGHLY recommend a visit to this beautiful property in the stunning Algarve. Just bear in mind, it is adults only, so no children under 18.

Just returned from a wonderful four nights stay and wish we could have stayed longer. Jonas and Thomas are wonderful hosts. They make you feel very welcome into their beautiful home. Breakfasts are a treat as are the mid afternoon snacks. Very relaxed environment. Beautiful pool area and the rooms are just right. Everything you need, including a well stocked honesty bar! and spotlessly clean. I would return in a heartbeat.

We spent a fabulous week with Jonas & Thomas at their gorgeous guesthouse. Lovely breakfast each morning with loads of variety. My birthday was celebrated with a very tasty apple cake complete with candles! The boys are so welcoming and nothing is too much trouble for them. It was our first visit there, but it certainly won’t be our last! Booking was real easy and they even organised our car rental for us with Luzcar (also recommended!). We flew direct from our hometown Bournemouth to Faro, which was super easy and Luz is about an hour’s easy drive down the A22. Thank you boys for your great hospitality - we’ll be back!

My husband Steve and I stayed at Palm View Guest House last week and we can only say that the whole experience was simply fabulous. Jonas and Thomas were the perfect hosts and nothing was too much trouble for them, even getting some of my favourite lemon and ginger tea for breakfast and running us into Luz town one evening for our meal when I’d hurt my foot. The facilities are excellent, from the tastefully decorated rooms (we had the Green room) to the spotlessly clean pool area and outside bar. I simply cannot praise the breakfast enough with cereals, a huge selection of fruit, cheeses, hams, tomatoes, peppers, cucumber, cooked eggs, bacon, mushrooms, pastries and breads … the list is endless … all supplied fresh every morning at a time of our choosing. The outside honesty bar was an excellent touch and the fridge is kept fully stocked with water, beer, soft drinks as well as crisp and other nibbles. Jonas and Thomas you have created an oasis of peace and tranquility that has to be experienced to be believed. Thank you so much, we can’t wait to be able to return. Karen & Steve

My first holiday on my own and enjoyed it to the most! Felt very welcome from beginning till end. Enjoyed the view and the garden with swimming pool. And had the most lovely breakfast every morning! Jonas and Thomas are both lovely people to stay with.

I recently spent 4 nights at Palm View Guesthouse and it was a wonderful experience. The hosts are so kind and friendly you feel right at home. The rooms are nicely decorated, super clean and really comfortable. The pool and grounds are supremely relaxing and beautiful. The location is perfect for an easy walk to downtown Luz or a quick drive over to Lagos. I highly recommend staying here. I know I will definitely stay here again.
