During our stay, we were plagued by loud music, and the rooms are poorly soundproofed, making it impossible to get any peace and quiet. While this was bad enough, the real issue was how the situation was handled by the management. The manager, Cybille Barcebal, demonstrated a shocking lack of urgency and professionalism. Initially, she instructed the front desk staff not to disclose her name to us when we raised our concerns. After pressing for assistance, we were told she was "too busy" to come down and speak with us, and that we would need to go to her room if we wanted to talk. After waiting for a considerable amount of time in the lobby, she finally made an appearance, but the delay was unacceptable. Even when she showed up, her demeanor lacked the concern or professionalism one would expect from a manager in the hospitality industry. There was no genuine effort to resolve the issue promptly, leaving us feeling ignored and frustrated. This experience not only revealed poor soundproofing in the rooms but also highlighted a serious problem with the way guest concerns are handled by the management. A lack of accountability, respect, and proper service made this stay a very negative experience. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone expecting a quiet environment or responsive management. Be aware of these serious issues before booking.
