Best family trip ever.the room is spacious and also clean .great view from the balcony..but aircond in both room are not functioning well..not cold.overall ok.might return here if we go to lumut again.

The management of this place seriously needs to "wake up" to how pathetic this place is being run. Horrible service and everything in this place is either broken or run down despite paying premium for the room, and the worst 2 ladies running the show in the evening of our check in. One is a Malay lady at the reception that just lies about everything and then there is another Indian lady who is arrogant, unhelpful and has zero manners. We arrived late in November and had a sick family member. There is no signs or humans at the entrance area to tell guest where the check in counter is . Once found, service is slow. and was given a key card that didn't work. Here is where it went south. So, instead of changing our room despite the whole block having minimum occupancy, they insisted the key would work but had to call the maintenance guy who was not even at site. Waited for half an hour, with all our bags at the hallway and Indian woman refusing to acknowledge there is a problem. This despite telling them we have a sick family member. The receptionist said she knows this place is rubbish but too bad, they are fully booked. Checked their website and still ample rooms available. The maintenance guys tries and tries but the door doesn't open and STILL, they refused to change our room until we kicked up a big fuss. Magically, they could find another room but guess what? The room door sticks and can't be open or shut without breaking your shoulder so we rejected that room and they were still reluctant to change our room again. Finally, because we were going to lose it, they gave another room which looks like it hasn't been cleaned for weeks but we were too tired at that point to care. See photos of blood-like stains on the desk and holes on the walls. The term resort is used very lightly here. Free breakfast is sick inducing cold food with the only hot item is an egg station. The paddle boat is okay with the guy running it trying his best to make a buck in this lousy place. Couldn't wait to check out. Holes on the walls, stains everywhere, dirty iron board, broken iron and TV that has such poor reception (see photos). Place smelt musty. Yucks! Just don't stay here unless you enjoy paying over $200 for crappy service for a night.

Hotel lack of renovation, must be due from lock down from last two years, no of guest was very low, looks like nobody, need to encourage more tourist here

Good location to stay overnight before going pangkor island. Managed to get a free upgrade. Food breakfast could be improved.

Pleasant 3-day stay exploring Lumut, Marina & Pangkor Islands. Spacious room with marina view. Breakfast lacked variety. Quick ferry access, convenient parking. RM80 Pangkor taxi tour enjoyable. Marina Island jetty recommended for ease. Overall, a positive experience.

My first trip to Marina Island. Perfect holiday destination. Its about 3-4 hours drive from Kuala Lumpur heading north. Its a quiet location. Many yachts (perhaps converted to as owners home) - not sure though were seen stationed opposite Marina. Its a lovely sight. And not too far from Marina is the jetty. Its walking distance. You can either relax at Daddys Cafe by the beach or get on the ferry to Pangkor Island.

The best among the best family trip that I ever have. The staffs was friendly & helpful. Nice view surround the hotel. Located near to the Marina Jetty to Pangkor.

Hotel looks haunted and scary. Not maintained. Poor breakfast. Not recommended.

the indian short hair receptions does not treat us very well. bad service. malay man was very kind. he fight for our late checkout due to room not yet ready even at 5:30 pm. he is the man. thanks bro.

IN DIRE NEED OF MAINTENANCE Our 3room apartment was spacious and generally clean but staff missed cleaning one of the bathrooms..... still with used soap on the soap-dish and clumps of hair in the drain. Yucks! We got out rooms only at 6.30pm Staff was friendly and courteous. Hotel in dire need of maintenance and refurbishment. The pool at D'Ocean wing was closed for upgrading and the pool at D'Sea wing has so many broken tiles, it's safety hazard. Guests have cut their toes. No regulations on proper swimming attire. Water is murky and dirty. There's nothing much to do here except for paddle boat and grouper fish feeding (I only saw 4 in the pond). Other recreational facilities are closed or in shambles. The Marina Island Ferry Jetty is just 10mins walk away. It's more popular than Lumut Jetty because the ferry ride to Pangkor is just 10mins compared to 40mins from Lumut Jetty. If you are a guest from the hotel on a day trip to Pangkor, I suggest you walk to the jetty because just too many cars, you might need to park so far away, almost back at hotel....and with RM20 parking fee!! There are no restaurants open for dinner at the Hotel....only one at the restaurant & bar at the Marina Island jetty

Unit is spacious, provided necessary in the room. Some improvement and maintenance needed for the corridor and lift. Facility is there and upgrade is required.
