This was not what we expected of a Sonesta property. Even after calling several times prior to our visit to ensure everything was in order, they failed. Let me first mention, we did not know this was a franchise location. The pool and fitness room closed, several entry points were not accessible from the outside (even with key), and breakfast is not served. Prior to arrival we requested our 2 rooms were to be on the first floor due to handicap parents. We arrived at 3:37pm to learn they were on the 3rd floor. Denitra at the front desk stated don't worry about it. We will move you to 105 and 107, they needed to be clean first. I said we will go to lunch and come back. Upon returning, we were told our rooms were 111 and 117. FINE! We get to the rooms, one smells like cigarettes the other smells like *********. Someone sprayed our rooms. FINE!! To prepare for the night, we asked for towels and bedding for the pullout. Front desk stated housekeeping left for the night and they were out. They appeared as if this to be normal. I than asked, what should I do? Go to walmart to buy pillows, blanket, sheets, and towels? At this point, I need management. Room was not stocked with soap, shampoo, nor conditioner. We had dirty smelly clothes left in the drawer. There are alot of long term guest they service first. We talked to off site management and he managed to go to Walmart to buy us pillows and someone washed towels. Still only one blanket. NO one at the location can assist you. Employees park in handicap parking spots. Be warned.
