TreeHouse Boutique Hotel - Adults Only

My family and friends visited Feb 2025 for a wedding for my daughter that was at a Hacienda in Merida. The owner Sunita and her staff were ever so gracious to us. The rooms were immaculate and comfortable. This boutique hotel is small and quaint compared to your larger hotels. They have a fresh lite breakfast for you every morning along with the best coffee. Make sure you visit the coffee pastry shop right next door for a full breakfast /fresh baked goods /lunch. The hotel has been newly renovated and looks so amazing. The owner takes pride in the materials she has used to build her hotel ... such as the beautiful tiles that are everywhere - all the special wood that she has used for the doors, etc with the wrought iron hardware and patio sets that is custom made along with her ovens from Italy for her bakery and many more special touches The hotel is very close to town and walkable to many restaurants and shops. I was told Merida is held as the safest town in Mexico and many people there have confirmed. I highly recommend a visit and stay at the Treehouse Boutique Hotel. Seven of stayed in this charming hotel during our trip to the Yucatan. The hotel is beautiful with wonderful, tropical landscaping, comfortable, well appointed (and quiet) rooms and great public spaces. The adjacent cafe and bakery serves an amazing breakfast with superb pastry. But probably the best think about the hotel is the staff. They were all very helpful, accommodating and gracious. The owner and manager, Sunita Martin seemed to be omnipresent and attentive to every detail. She even arranged a wonderful recital with violin and cello for our last night. I would definitely return to this gem of a small hotel on my next visit to Merida.

You couldn’t ask for a better home base in Merida. The hotel is perfectly situated off a quiet street near the Paseo Montejo and an easy 15 min walking distance to the Plaza Grande. The rooms are gorgeous, atmosphere is peaceful, and Sunita and Patrick (the owners) go above and beyond to make everything just right. I can’t recommend the Treehouse highly enough.

What a hidden GEM. The location is so perfect. There are restaurants all over the place. Have never stayed at such a comfortable friendly place. The staff is outstanding and so very helpful. The rooms are very clean and the beds and linens are so comfortable, slept like a baby. Quiet and serene is a perfect description. The interior decor is absolutely beautiful and the courtyards are wonderful. We were only there for 5 nights and wish it could have been a lot longer. Starting out, you are greeted at the door, enter into a very nice reception area, signed in and you receive any and all information you might request. You then walk into a sitting room with tables for four and large comfortable chairs (we found it the perfect place after dinner for a relaxing cold cerveza) with a beautiful view of the courtyard. The rooms are extremely nice, very clean, well decorated and appointed. You get free Wi-fi and wonderful peace and quiet. It is an adults only hotel. Eating establishments are a challenge as there are only 104 restaurants within .3 of a mile of the Treehouse Boutique Hotel. To top that off, just a couple of doors down the street there is a wonderful Bakery & Cafe (Same owners as the Hotel) . I definitely think anyone will enjoy their stay at this hotel. I know we certainly did and we have every intention of going back. We found that not only the staff, but the local people were so nice, polite and amongst the friendliest that we have experienced in our many travels.

Comfortable place and great reception. We had the wonderful opportunity to stay in this beautiful hotel "Tree House" in Merida, Mexico. All the touches are wonderful, especially the good reception and welcome, so that you feel like you are in your home. The rooms are excellent and the reception hall is comfortable. What is really special is the owner of the hotel following up on the comfort of the guests.
