Basil Fawlty would be proud of this hotel. I paid, in full, to Trip Com, showed my receipt and they still wanted more money. Suggest I go down the ban and get them £50. The room was awful. The TV was leaning into the table, wallpaper was missing. The electric duct was off the wall, the wardrobe door handle was missing, the chair was stained and the toilet seat wobbled. There IS a car park. It is filled with junk and takes forever to get anyone to open the gate. I parked in the municipal car park opposite. After the 4am fire alarm the other Mr Fawlty shouted at me because the key card didn't work and I needed it to be reset. An absolutely dreadful location.

We could not stay due to my 4yr old daughter being admitted to hospital, venue would not refund even due to extenuating circumstances and refused to cancel our booking, so we could still use it!!!!!!!!!, even tho we could not travel !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This place should not be allowed to operate, the receptionist was such an embarrassment to the company, the room was not as advertised, no towels, the bathroom outside our room and most probably used by more than one person, bathroom not really clean and toilet smells horrible as well as toilet seat broken, the Smell of the place is disgusting I caught a flu because room didn’t have enough heating, water kettle for tea with coffee and tea cups with no where to get water from, we just had to complete our stay as we actually booked this last minute, Trip should not associate itself with such a horrible property

Better sleep on footpath than goin there I was robbed shown different pictures but when reached there it was totally a different place full with junkies and smell of **** all round guy on reception was drunk badly and was very rude too. Room was tiny one totally different to what I saw online and it wasn’t even cleaned empty bottles of alcohol and remainings of smoked cigarettes was everywhere in the room. I didn’t even speak with them about refund and get out of there and went to a different place.

The hotel is dreadful, the worst place I have ever visited. There were two receptionists at various times. Both were rude to everyone. The room was poorly described. The TV table was particularly broken, there was missing wallpaper. The electrical cable duct had come off the wall. Both the bed headboard and the toilet seat wobbled. The wardrobe door was missing a handle and the chair was stained. There were even slithers of broken glass on the reception floor. Outside was just as bad. Most of the letters were missing from the hotel sign and the car park was less tidy than the local rubbish dump. Avoid this place like the plague.

Starting with the staff, upon arrival, we were greeted with an irritated eye roll. While checking in, we were passionately glared at by two women who i presume worked there. The man checking us in didn’t seem to know what was going on and just flung the room key at us. The room. I wouldn’t have stepped into the shower in a hazmat suit. A concoction of filth including blood and ***** hair. Even if we had risked it all and attempted this bushtuker trial, we would have had to dry ourselves with the bed sheet as there were no towels. After many tries of trying to put the kettle on, we realised the lead had been snapped off so that was our brew out the window - although based on some of the other reviews, that was probably for the best. Do not enter the bed with any force, bruising extremely likely. This mattress was rock solid. After leaving the dump for some dinner, we realised we were not provided with the code to renter the property. It was only by chance that there was someone still on reception or we would’ve been locked out. Sleeping on the street wouldn’t have been much worse than this bacteria-ridden skip. I guess this place could work for anyone interested in a seedy one night stand but nothing more.

I booked this "hotel" on *********** as somewhere to sleep after a gig to save the 4 hour commute. Literally everything was booked so I was limited on choice. Yes it was cheap, I wasn't expecting much but it was just somewhere to catch a few hours kip so didn't need anything too fancy. Anyway, what greated us was beyond grim. Rude receptionist on arrival. Vile dirty reception area Then to the room... well I've never seen such filth in my life. Obvious signs of building work being carried out which gave hope of the room being nice... no! I will let the photos talk for themselves. If we didn't arrive at a little before 1am, we wouldn't have stayed Dangerous electrics, extension lead plugged into a broken socket behind the bed Dirty, filthy room Bogies on the curtains Dirty shower Paint everywhere Bedding was washed in fairness Ps towels are not included - I have now seen this on my original booking, hands up I missed that. But a welcoming receptionist would have offered this on arrival no?

Think we lucky bed was clean and booked own bathroom. No towels ***. But least had a coffee morning. Good job just a one night stay. After a night out. We were lucky by the sound of it. Would I stay here again. Definitely not. Sure better places to stay

3 people checked in yesterday the rooms was disgusting the shower didn’t work toilet was a mess with tissues on the floor bedroom was dirty dusty bedsheets had cigarette burns the mattress had urine all over it the headboard was on the floor and not attached to the bed The bed had bug 🐜 bites This hotel is a hazard The kettle in the bedroom nearly went up in flames 🔥 while it was on the water changed colour from kettle to yellow it was dirty then was replaced Had hair all over the bed We are all itchy and scratching non stop since leaving the hotel it’s nothing like the pictures have been photoshopped Got bug bites all over our body Filthiest hotel STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL AVOID 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

My wife booked here for an overnight stay after a family party,we lasted 15 minutes,long enough to change & take a dump. Seriously like a building site in the 'safe car park',rubbish everywhere,skip & room for literally 3 cars,despite the 30 odd rooms,you do the maths. The room no better,after the 15minutes the guy on reception couldn't care less when we said we couldn't stay here,he just walked past me & continued up the stairs. If I could score zero this place is certainly down there. Probably the worst place I've ever set foot in. AVOID UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.

Great place, dosent deserve the negative reviews it has got a very homely vibe to it, from the welcoming and friendly staff to the comfy beds like sleeping on a cloud 10/10 recommend would stay again.

How this place is still open is beyond belief, the smell on its own is concerning!!! The whole of the upstairs smelt like an infection, If something was found deceased I would not be surprised!! I booked this hotel last minute as I was going to a concert, so didn’t manage to look at the reviews before hand as I was so rushed!! I’ve been home over 10 hours and the smell still lingers in my nostrils, and if I heave one more time I’m definitely gonna be sick!! This place needs an inspection asap!! And shutting down

We had a one night stay with our little dogs. The staff are friendly and very accommodating, which is great for people with dogs. The bar and restaurant was very busy. Our room was clean, with bottled water, coffee machine and kettle etc. The towels and toiletries were of good quality, the bathroom and shower was most satisfactory, We had a good nights sleep in a comfortable bed. Pleasant view of Pendle hill. A great base for keen walkers.
