My Bed

I stayed in a single room which was very simply furnished but had everything I needed to be comfortable and it was very clean. It was on a buzzy little square and had a small balcony. It was a 12 minute walk to the Duomo, and very close to the small canal district which has a ton of restaurants. The location worked very well. It’s in a older building and was a little tricky to find. No big sign, but a tiny label on a buzzer next to a large antique door, to the right of the pharmacy when you face it. It’s on the 4th floor of an older building but it has been very thoughtfully remodeled. The room was ready early and they let me check in-greatly appreciated after a transatlantic flight. I wasn’t bothered by street noise. The owner had his children there one night due to renovations and the only disruption was him worrying that his children were causing a disturbance. They were actually very well behaved. I would stay here again!

I cannot comment on the location or hotel facilities as we didn't even make it that far. Our flight was delayed and upon landing and switching my phone on, I had several missed calls and messages from the hotel asking where we were. I then received a phone call where a gentleman very rudely and aggressively told me that they had been trying to call since 4pm (this was at 6pm) and why didn't I answer. I explained that I couldn't answer as I was on the flight over from the UK and that our flight had been delayed. He shouted down the phone that his staff wanted to go home and that if we weren't there by 7pm then we wouldn't be able to stay in the hotel. Again, I explained that the flight had been delayed, we had literally just landed and it was 6pm and the hotel was 53km away we might be a little after 7pm. He said under no circumstances would his staff be staying beyond 7pm so we would have to find somewhere else, despite the *********** listing saying that check-in between 7pm-10pm was available for a 35 euro surcharge which we would of course paid. We were left in the middle of Milan on a Friday night with no accommodation, I have never encountered such terrible customer service in my life, through something like a delayed flight which was completely out of our control.

La miglior scelta che possiate fare. Come avere una casa in centro a Milano. L’hotel esclusivo è collocato di fronte alle Colonne di San Lorenzo. Comodamente raggiungibile da stazione centrale con la metro fino in Duomo e poi tram numero 3 o 14 direzione ticinese. Si trova al terzo piano raggiungibile con l’ascensore. Ben arredato, confortevole, pulitissimo. Avevamo una stanza con i travi in legno sul soffitto adorabile ma sopratutto con una spettacolare vista di Milano dall’alto.mio pagato la camera con vista che merita la spesa. Vicinissima all’hotel, consiglio la Pizzeria del Ticinese, altresì unica sia a pranzo che a cena. La Signora Paola in reception ci accolto con eleganza e gentilezza, grazie. Alla sera senza prendere mezzi avrete vicini ristoranti, i Navigli è tutto il corso di Porta Ticinese. Ottima scelta venire qui! Spero di tornare al più presto.
