Having been a regular here for 2 years I was amazed to be treated like a criminal by the relatively new bar manager! Firstly, I’m served short measures of red wine because the bottle ran out and he couldn’t be bothered to get another bottle from the cellar. I challenged him and he reluctantly went and got a bottle and topped up the glasses. Half hour later went to the bar, waited 10 mins as no one behind bar, so went into restaurant, only to see Manager just playing on his phone - I asked him who was serving, basically called me a liar saying there were people behind bar (real attitude problem). Then called my colleague a liar too as he backed up what I was saying! Then refused as any more drinks and shouted this across a bar with other people present. This guy has major issues and shouldn’t be employed by Premier Inn. Asked for his bosses name, wouldn’t give it 🤷♂️. Shame because all other staff are great, just ruined by a Manager who has major issues with life. Even the other staff were rolling there eyes about him but for me, never again. The most appauling customer service I have ever experienced. Spoke to other customers and all said he was just full of his own ego. Shocking Prem Inn employ someone like this to ruin an otherwise good place. Avoid!!
