Sunny Isle Motel

We had a wonderful 3 night stay- beds were comfortable, shower water pressure was great and hot! Room was clean and had everything we needed. Aaron was so friendly and welcoming. Great location to spend the day exploring any part of beautiful PEI.

Excellent place to stay. The owner went above and beyond to help us out while our flights were delayed for hours. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. I would recommend this property to anyone travelling to the area.

My Aunt and I stayed at the Sunny Isle Motel from July 31 to Aug 3, 2023. We had a wonderful experience there, No wonder they have a 5 star rating. They deserve it! We loved the beds and pillows - so comfortable! The motel room was clean beyond our expectations. There was a small fridge and freezer, perfect for our needs, and a microwave that we used daily. Our room had a back deck that faced the water (away from the road). We both enjoyed sitting out there in the morning for coffee and in the evening for a peaceful retreat after a long day of sightseeing. There is mention of a walkway to the water from the back of the motel, but we couldn't find it. Maybe it has grown over or we looked in the wrong place. However, the back of the property is lovely, with manicured lawns and a gazebo. Lots of space for a stroll under a canopy of large trees for shade. Our balcony had hand carved eagles and other animals right off the deck. Such a nice surprise! The picture on this post is actually their other property across the street from the Sunny Isle Motel, called Cairns. I cannot speak to it, because we didn't stay there. However, given our experience where we stayed, I am sure it is equally as good. The owners were amazing and so accommodating! We love you guys! I would love to go back there and wish our hosts the best because they have earned the five stars I am giving them. Penny and Fran from room 4.

New Owners.....but definitely the same personal touches we always rec'd fr Myles Clark. They are across the street, ( Cairn's Motel) but hands on @ all times. Truly ,a wonderful Family atmosphere . Highly Recommend

This place was fantastic. The owners are really nice and accommodating. Onsite laundry was great. Room was clean, beds comfortable, towels soft. I will say that the room is perfect for a couple or family with 1 or 2 small children but if traveling with teens take advantage of the low price by opting for a second room. It was tight with 4 big people. Might suggest that they lose the heavy bedspreads. Some of the rooms are pictured with a duvet and that would be a lot fresher but if that is all I can find to say it was a great quiet place to stay!

We have stayed in a few different hotels around Summerside. We stayed during a popular weekend, and most other places were booked up. After reading other reviews of this place, we decided to take a chance. It is a great little family run motel. Our room was clean and comfortable. It had 2 beds. We were advised 1 would be more firm and the other more comfortable. They were both great. Our room had a mini fridge, microwave and large tv. Lots of parking. The bathroom was nice, but the A/C unit was directly in front of the toilet... We thought this a bit odd. There is a little patio with some chairs to sit on. Would stay here again and would recommend to others. Even though, no additional amenities like breakfast or a pool, considering this to be a motel - the price was great and is highly recommended. Heard there was a private trail with access to the beach, but didn't use. Staff friendly and check in was easy.
