L’hôtel est bien même si tout est très étroit, mais le plus important dans un hôtel c’est le personnel qui doit avant tout être chaleureux et respectueux.
Dans cet hôtel (choisi parce que petit avec très peu de chambres), c’est exactement l’inverse : le personnel ne dit même pas bonjour le matin, aucun respect ! Ils n’en ont rien à faire des clients, ils sont juste là pour donner une clé ! En terme de communication ils ont tout à apprendre !
N’y allez jamais, c’est une catastrophe !!!

Le personnel de la réception est gentil et avenant, après un petit souci rapidement réglé nous avons eu une chambre confortable, bien que l’insonorisation laisse à désirer pour les chambres au premier plancher. Situé dans la vielle ville, il faut s’attendre à la présence d’itinérants. On demeure sur les rues piétonnes pour éviter les ennuis. La piscine sur le toit est agréable. Cependant l’hôtel a besoin d’une petite cure pour retrouver son lustre d’antan. Mais surtout on change la playlist du petit-déjeuner, les crooners des années 80, c’est pas inspirant. Il y a certainement mieux en Uruguay!

Wonderful small hotel in the heart of the Old City with extremely helpful and friendly front desk staff. We had paid for an early check in and when we arrived the room they gave us had not, in fact, been cleaned. They then immediately upgraded us to a larger room and gave us tickets to the Carnival competition at the Summer Theatre (the tickets are not expensive, but it was a very nice gesture). Since we'd just spent 24 hrs traveling, we appreciated being able get into a room early. Breakfast with fresh squeezed orange juice and pastries etc. was fine and filling. We enjoyed the hotel's location across the street from the Port Market and an easy walk to many of the attractions in the Old City. The nicest artisan craft shop we saw in the city is only a block away. The bed was a real king-sized bed and the AC worked very well. We would definitely recommend for a few days in Montevideo.

The hospitality of this hotel is unmatched by anything I am used to in latin America. There was an issue at the parking garage and the staff made every effort to remedy it and were overly apologetic by the short wait we had. I would recommend staying here to anyone you're really in great hands and the location couldn't be better. As a bonus! There is a large parking garage.

We had no problems with the hotel, its location or cleanliness. However, we were double charged for our room back in March 2022 and 7 months later have still not received a refund. Upon check in the girl charged our credit card the incorrect amount for our booking. When I pointed out the error, she recharged my credit card in the correct amount and said she would issue a credit once she asked someone who knew how to process it. Shortly after we were issued a credit and given the appropriate slips indicating the 2 charges and the credit charges to my card. When we arrived home I noticed 2 charges from the hotel on my credit card statement but no credit. For some reason the credit has never processed to my credit card. Up on closer inspection of the credit slip I noticed it says INCORRECTO at the bottom and therefore never got processed. I have sent numerous emails trying contact someone at the hotel since this booking trying to get my $463.50 USD refund; and no one will return my emails or my phone calls. I even had the booking agency contact the hotel (***********) and they still will not correct this matter. This is not a big hotel (it has 21 rooms) and at the time of our stay it had very few bookings so reconciling this matter should not be a problem. I wonder if they make a practice of doing this type of thing??

Stayed at the Don Boutique Hotel during my first visit to the Capital of Uruguay. Beautiful, modern boutique style hotel in the City Centre with modern well appointed rooms and friendly staff. Breakfast is simple and offered in-house. Many shops and restaurants as well as key sights are just a short walk away. If you want to visit the beautiful city of Montevideo, this is an excellent place to stay. Stay was in July 2018.

Ótimo custo x benefício. Localizado no centro histórico da cidade, berço cultural de Montevidéu. Para quem gosta de caminhar com segurança, o lugar é perfeito, ficando em frente ao agradável mercado do Porto, que oferece excelentes opções gastronômicas. O hotel é simples, limpo, e tem um café da manhã que satisfaz. Os funcionários do dia são bem receptivos, especialmente a Melen. Recomendo!

Hotel muito bom! O prédio é redondo , todo envidraçado, logo todos os quartos tem uma vista linda. Passei meu aniversário no hotel e ganhei um bolo, um mimo do hotel que me deixou feliz. Minha estadia foi em 2019 , mas havia esquecido de avaliar.
