Travelodge Oswestry

A Little bit too far out of town. Secluded with unlit car park. In need of some attention.

After reading the reviews we were sceptical about staying here.Our room 29 was clean and bright yes bath was a bit dated and a few iron markers showing.Bed comfortable room bright and aired.Receptionist very friendly and helpful.Outside the hotel was rundown and yes potholes in the car park.A revamp is needed but it served our purpose.

I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone just because of the car park and how basic everything is. But, if you don't mind that and you just want a cheap place to stay for one night, it's fine.

The hardest thing is finding it in the maze of mini roundabouts! Just what to expect from a Travelodge, friendly, helpful staff at the end of a long journey. Room was spotlessly clean, water was hot, bed comfortable. No restaurant attached but there is a TableTable a few hundred yards away. Would definitely stay again

Spider webs and dust on walls. TV controller filthy. Needs updating. Go stay at Battlefields it's much nicer.

Massive pothole in the car park which we hit on leaving. Slight damage to the car. Rooms were dated and tired. Too hot at night. Bed was lumpy and pillows were hard. Convenient location and places to get provisions nearby. Friendly staff

The staff are very welcoming and attentive I really enjoyed my stay here for 6 weeks due to work I had no issues at all rooms very clean 5 star service from all the staff and the manager was fantastic would come back anytime and would bring family also

Bathroom, soap dispensers didn't work and toilet seat not stable. Also coffee/tea marks on TV table.

The travelodge is attached to a well known fast food outlet begins with b and ends with k this is not a bad review of the travel lodge but the land owned by the council so I was informed,the front of the travellodge and the entrance to the fast food joint is plagued with rats the size of my cat I kid you not they are in the plant beds at the entrance I was there last night Sunday 21st they are everywhere I had to go out to my van for my phone,I couldn't get out they were running everywhere.they are chasing food that people are throwing away from BK,I trued to video and photo them but they were too quick this is the truth they are everywhere if you go and you have pets or kids carry them rat urine is dangerous whilst disease is dangerous watch your kids and pets.i will never be there again it was shocking. Be careful people.i spoke to reception they were aware of the rats.
