This is our 4th stay at the Bel’alpe and each time has been great. It is a super comfy welcoming chalet right in the middle of morzine. A view of the Pleney slope from most rooms means you can watch fireworks, processions and competitions from your room. A 4 minute walk to the Pleney were we hire gear from and leave there overnight. If walking would also be about 6 minutes to the super morzine bubble to Avoriaz. The closest restaurants are at the end of the street. Cedric who is the maitre d is just an amazing asset. He always tries his best with English and is the best at drinks, breakfast, finding pain killers and ice packs and just always being on hand. Francoise the owner - is quick to reply to any emails and is always there each morning. The family room has a big king bed and two bunks separated by a sliding door. This works great for us - even with teens. Mattresses are super comfy. Room is basic and home from home- just the way a chalet should be. You do get a hairdryer, robes and slippers which is a nice touch. Hot water is plentiful and shower has a good pressure. Breakfast has a good selection and most should be happy with it. We much prefer the b&b stay to full board as we like to eat out in the town. If you get a takeaway they are happy for you to use a dining room table to eat it. I’m sure we will be back again
