Super 8 by Wyndham Mt. Carmel IL

My family and I came into town for a few days for a family function. The owner is the nicest person! He learns his guests names and calls each one by name for the duration of their stay. He is friendly and accommodating. His hotel is clean and pretty quiet. The lobby is filled with lovingly maintained plants, which for me, helps the hotel feel more like home.

Came in town to handle some family business and needed a place to stay. It was very cozy and well maintained. The hotel staff was very friendly. Limited continental breakfast. Internet, once connected worked fine.

Owners/staff very friendly and breakfast is fab! Had to do some family tree research in both Mt. Carmel and Albion. Hotel located convenient to both areas. Plus the local restaurants were good food, good prices and nice folks, too.

We visited family in the area and the hotel was close to them. The hotel provided a clean, reasonably priced, noise free environment for the few days we were in town. The hotel met our short-term needs.

My second stay Have a friend retiring from teaching this month Her mother is in the memory care across the street My father is 88 and lives with me and sometimes I just have to have a break to read and relax I will be back in a couple of months to start the moving process with her

The Super Eight is average and appears to be maintained and clean. The guest room has not been updated or redecorated since we were there four years ago. The bed was very uncomfortable with a large dip in the mattress. Pillows were also lumpy. Bathtub shower unit has nothing to hold on to and felt unsafe. There was an issue with bugs in the room. Clean towels were provided daily and the bed was made up, floor was vacuumed. Staff/owner was friendly and welcoming.

Excellent service' helpful friendly staff, clean rooms, good location for our trip and family;y activities, great and convenient breakfast bar We will choose this facility the next time we visit Mr. Carmel.

the property is the only nice motel in the area. It was THE place to stay while visiting the Lone Ranger museum in Mt. Carmel Wabash County Museum. The room was good and the staff attentive. The place was clean and had breakfast

This super 8 was awesome! The room was very clean as was the whole establishment! The staff at check in , during our stay and at checkout was impeccable. Everyone smiling and happy! I would definitely recommend this motel to everyone. We will also be staying there again in the future when we go through that area.
