My favourite hostel in China so far! Located in a beautiful, quiet village with the tea forest right behind, the hostel was so welcoming and cozy. The owner was very friendly, helping me buy tickets, inviting me for drinks, snacks, even taking me and some of the other girls out for a village dance. There was a wonderful feeling of community and female companionship, if I ever return to Jingmaishan, I'll be sure to come here!

Le service à la réception est chaleureux et attentionné, et le responsable du hall est également très patient. Toutes les questions reçoivent une réponse précise et l'accueil est chaleureux ! La piscine de son hôtel est d'une eau claire et il est très agréable de s'y baigner. Le petit-déjeuner varié est si copieux qu'il donne le vertige, et chaque bouchée est satisfaisante. L'agencement des chambres est raisonnable, le confort est exceptionnel et la fatigue disparaît instantanément. Je tiens à féliciter l'eau minérale de la chambre. Elle utilise l'eau de source Mojiang Twin, douce et rafraîchissante, et les détails témoignent de sa qualité. Je n'ai pas pris beaucoup de photos à la va-vite pendant ce voyage. Lors de ma prochaine visite, je partagerai mon expérience avec tout le monde !

J'ai travaillé dans des chambres d'hôtes à Tonglu, Lishui, Ningde, Hemu et Shangri-La pendant un certain temps, et je ne les commente généralement pas. 1. Ce B&B possède sa propre mini-application, qui permet non seulement de réserver des chambres et d'obtenir des informations sur divers produits agricoles, mais aussi sur les restaurants, les attractions, les transports, les levers et couchers de soleil à proximité, etc. Cela m'a vraiment surpris, car la plupart des B&B économiques se limitent à la réservation de chambres et de produits agricoles. 2. Il y a une grande terrasse au deuxième étage, où vous pouvez vous balancer et boire du thé. 3. Vous pouvez vous essayer à la cueillette et à la friture du thé. Un goûter est généralement organisé le soir, où tout le monde se réunit pour discuter. Mon ami, qui travaille dans une autre chambre d'hôtes, est également venu déguster des fruits, du thé et discuter. Ces deux nuits m'ont redonné la tranquillité naturelle de mon précédent travail à Ningde, Hemu. 4. La qualité de l'eau en montagne est généralement mauvaise. Elle est jaunâtre, et l'eau des deux filtres est également un peu jaunâtre. Le lendemain, j'ai été confronté à une pénurie d'eau en montagne. Il y a aussi des coupures de courant occasionnelles, mais elles ne durent que peu. 5. Ici, les gens ne prennent généralement pas de petit-déjeuner, alors on se lève tard. Pourtant, le propriétaire offrait du thé à tout le monde au salon de thé tôt ce matin. Hier, il a emmené tout le monde en montagne pour cueillir du thé. 6. Les Bulang sont une ethnie minoritaire. Tout en conservant leur caractère travailleur et simple, ils ont fait de leur mieux pour s'adapter aux tendances et à la culture du continent, ce qui est assez impressionnant.

Exceeded all my expectations of a boutique homestay with only six rooms . Ultra luxury linens and beddings , ,Panasonic view of sea clouds at the confer of your bath tub , tasteful contemporary chinese interiors , and to top it all , run by a simple humble couple who goes to ends to make your stay a comfortable one . When you stay for 3 nights or more , they cook up a storm of local delicacies for your dinner , on top of daily breakfast! Do be prepared breakfasts are local style . Bit there’s a great cafe nearby service Arabica yunna beans and it’s become one of my fave ! Def great value for money !

Oh my goodness I have never stayed in a place like this! We live in a noisy city and come here felt like being in heaven. So peaceful and quiet. Our kids loved trying to catch fireflies in the night. We took a walk quite a distance from our cabin towards the hills and came back whrn it was pretty dark. We were able to see the milky way galaxy across the sky and so many stars that the only other place we ever saw tjat many stars was back in my country in the village with no light pollution. Words cannot describe the tranquility of this placed the magnificence of nature and the peace and quite. The nights are so dark and quiet, felt like being somewhere in wild savanna. I heard some sounds of animals I had never heard before. We will seriously make this place our frequent holiday detination for peace and quiet, nature and mental healing. There were quite a number of activities for the kids but our kids were too young to participate. We were just quite happy going for walks and watching the stars at night. The grass looked so inviting and we wanted to roll down the hills hahaha but it was all fenced, which makes sense for safety. We heard there was a heard of elephants nearby. We also loved in when it rained, the sound of raindrops on the leaves outside and on our leaves. It’s definitely a place for poets and writers, artists and creative people. I was truly inspired and I mostly sat outside when the babies were napping, and read my Lord of the rings book that I took with me, as that place reminded me of hobbit-land and magic. Coffee lovers must go, we had as many cups of coffee as we liked. They also offered us hotpot for dinner and lunch.

Originally, i booked only 1 night, with the intention of going onwards to Laos the next day. But i stayed a 2nd night because the room was spacious and the view out of the window was so restful. About the room, I like it that there is a desk i could work from. And that the shower and WC areas are divided by a screen. For the 2nd day, my room was refreshed with used toiletries replenished and towels changed. I wish the guesthouse would implement a system where guests are able to indicate if they wish to use the same towels. I am pro-environment, so if i don't change my towels everyday at home, i don't see the need to do so when i am away. I also like the location as it was easy for me to catch Bus Route 3 to a nearby shopping area (i had KFC breakfast there), cross the road to take Bus Route 8 to Meizi Lake Park. I spent about 3 hours there, including enjoying coffee and cake in the cafe near the entrance to the park. (My biggest regard was i did not get to drink even 1 cup of Pu'er tea while in Pu'er :)) After that I back tracked on Bus Route 8 to change to Bus Route 3 to visit the Tea Horse Ancient City. Then after, I took Bus Route 3 to the shopping centre, had dinner and shopped at Walmart, before catching Bus Route 3 back to the guesthouse. There is a walking/running track just across the road from the guesthouse. Forget about going the full length of the track. Once you see a slope on the right side, walk up there. You will get a nice viewpoint and there is a nice cafe there. If the weather is right, you get to see sunrise too! I went in the morning, the cafe was closed, so did not patronise the place. Had I known about this cafe, i would have gone there on the 1st day. Perhaps the guesthouse operator could do up a map with information of easily assessible places of interest. This could result in longer stays for free and easy travellers. Pu'er is a well planned town/city. I like it and will recommend others to spend some time there. Most importantly, do stay at this guesthouse. The surrounding tea plantations will recharge you!

Out of expectation!! Jingmai mountain is not yet well developed as a tourist destination (which makes it more original and peaceful too). So I didn’t expect anything like Xiangongjia - the hotel is well furnished and designed with professional hotel management. The local owner is very friendly too and organised the fire dance on our first night. The restaurant in the hotel is incredible too - tasty and clean - a level I had never expected just in my hotel and not even in this less developed tourist destination - so we spend 2 nights here - so continent when it is less dangerous drive during night time in mountain area. The manager also helped me to prepare a bday cake for my friend and made tea for us. And thanks for sharing your and this hotel’s story. If you have the budget, this is definitely your best choice.

L'hygiène générale était acceptable. Je me suis réveillé avec un gros rat dans la cour le lendemain matin, mais c'est sans doute inévitable en montagne ; tenez-en compte. La chambre était à côté de la cuisine. Pensez à préciser « éviter » les chambres 101 et 102 lors de la réservation, car on y prépare les légumes dès 7 h du matin, ce qui rend le sommeil impossible. De même, si quelqu'un se lève à l'étage, vous ne pourrez pas dormir non plus ; les bouchons d'oreilles étaient inefficaces. L'insonorisation était déplorable, j'ai donc changé d'hébergement le lendemain. Le propriétaire a été très arrangeant et a annulé ma réservation rapidement. La plateforme d'observation était joliment décorée et offrait une belle vue sur le coucher du soleil, mais personnellement, je ne la recommanderais pas.

Petit conseil : il vaut mieux choisir une chambre située à l'arrière. Nous n'avons pas bien dormi ici, et même si le bruit des voitures était supportable, impossible d'échapper au vacarme de la tondeuse qui s'est mise en marche juste devant notre fenêtre tôt ce matin. Notre chambre était au deuxième étage, juste à côté de la route, donc même fenêtres fermées, le bruit était insupportable. Après le petit-déjeuner, nous sommes retournés dans notre chambre et avons constaté que la tondeuse tournait toujours. Nous sommes donc repartis aussitôt. La maison d'hôtes en elle-même était agréable et confortable. Le petit-déjeuner comprenait des œufs, du maïs et des gâteaux de riz, de quoi nous rassasier. Il y avait même des nouilles de riz ! Cependant, en voulant tremper nos œufs durs dans la sauce soja, nous avons constaté qu'elle était rance. Espérons que les propriétaires prendront désormais en compte les normes d'hygiène alimentaire.

We (2 German travellers) have been in the area of Jingmaishan and wanted to stay a night somewhere. The hotel is about 2 km away from Wengji Ancient Village, that means 30 mins by foot. At first, we wabted to book our hotel directly in the village, but it turns out that booking Diwanara hotel was the best thing that could have happened. The host, who grew up there and is member of the Lahu-Minority is so warm-hearted, he sits in front of his house drinking tea the whole day and we would never leave or come back without being invited to drink some of his homemade tea. He has tea fields 10 mins away from his hotel, and he even took us there to teach us how to collect the tea. Also he cooks breakfast for his guests, which is just delicious. For everybody who, besides the quite commercialised Wengji Village, also wants to have an authentic experience, we can warmly recommend Diwanara hotel.
