朋友推薦的客棧。一到，就覺得朋友懂自己，太對味啦。整個空間佈置很有禪意，場域讓人安靜。 管家小姐姐們熱情周到，有賓至如歸的感覺。客棧門口的一個小細節，還讓我對這個村子的歷史有了一點了解。瑤塘村，以前村民經營燒磚燒瓦。客棧門口的青磚，就是那段村史的見證。 這次入住的體驗，就如我住的房間名——自在。

We had a wonderful time at Home of Mountains. The rooms, and the hotel itself, were beautifully decorated and very clean. Every day there was a varied breakfast and a lovingly prepared afternoon tea. Coffee lovers will also be happy here; there are several special coffees to try. The staff and the owner were very attentive, friendly, and helpful. We were given tips for the surrounding attractions, so that even though the scenic area was closed one day due to bad weather, we were able to explore the area. There is a pool on the hotel grounds that you can use at any time—perfect for cooling off after a day in the mountains. The hotel is just a few minutes away from the scenic area, and even from the grounds you have a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. We can absolutely recommend the hotel; if we come to the area again, it would definitely be our first choice. Thank you for the wonderful time!

C'est un peuple qui se débrouille. Principalement, la piscine est très adaptée aux enfants. En outre, l'hygiène est bonne, propre et propre, l'attitude de service est également possible. Très proche de la Chine du Sud, bien que le voisinage soit relativement éloigné, il est difficile de vendre si vous voulez manger du soir. Le petit déjeuner peut être plus flou et un peu monotone.

A comfy, no frills Chinese inn managed by a husband and wife team. The lady owner was informative and helped me to plan the best routes to hike as well as enjoy the Danxia Mountains. She even assisted me to purchase a discounted ticket for the Danxia night cruise. Inn's location is located near the Danxia main gate as well as eateries. Perfect Chinese hospitality. Truly a home away from home. TIP: Non locals including foreigners who flew into Guangdong province within the last 10 days and can show their air tickets at the ticket counter can get a free 2 day visit to the Danxia Mountains. Information is accurate as at January 2026.

La maison d'hôtes est située juste en face de l'entrée du site touristique, à quelques pas seulement. La chambre était propre et les fenêtres bien isolées. Le propriétaire était très accueillant et nous a spontanément proposé des conseils de randonnée. Il nous a donné une carte, a tracé le parcours et nous a indiqué la durée estimée. Nous n'avions rien préparé au préalable. Un grand bravo ! Le mont Danxia est vraiment magnifique ; l'excursion en valait vraiment la peine. We stayed here as a family with our child during our autumn trip to Danxia Mountain, and it served as a perfect and convenient base. The biggest advantage is its proximity to the Danxia Mountain scenic area. It saved us a lot of commuting time with a young child. It was also a reasonable drive to/from Shaoguan railway station. The rooms were clean and spacious enough for a family. The amenities met our basic needs. As a family, we particularly appreciated features that made our stay more comfortable (consider mentioning any specific amenity you liked, e.g., ”the on-site restaurant had good options for the child” or ”the room layout was convenient”). The staff was helpful. For family travelers, efficient service is key, and they assisted us well with directions and local travel tips. I would recommend this hotel to other families visiting Danxia Mountain. Its location drastically reduces travel stress when exploring the park with young children. It's more about practical convenience and comfort than luxury, which is exactly what we needed.

房間已十分陳舊，感覺服務也跟不上。衞浴有浴缸，問前台拿個浴袋，居然要收取15元。如果是中檔酒店可以理解，這個檔次的酒店居然還要收取費用，不可思議。電梯無需刷卡，任何人都可以出入，雜亂無序。房間的衞生也一般，可以看到邊角位有灰塵。酒店房間沒冰箱。最讓人吐槽的是早餐，連經濟型酒店都比不上。停車場雖不收費，但是沒保安指揮，亂停亂放。這間酒店真不值得推薦。 別老看上邊的好評，建議 避坑，慎重。

This is a decent hotel in a good location, right next to the train station. It's also close to a shopping mall and pedestrian zone. The room was good and clean.

La chambre fixe envoie deux billets de 1 petite chaleur, non seulement avec un chauffage intérieur, mais aussi plus de quarante piscines chaudes dans la demi-slévation, l'environnement est très beau. Les chambres de changer de vêtement, la salle de bains, le service est très bon, il vaut la peine de deux lits, les produits de chaleur du premier étage sont également bons, l'ouverture de la porte et la montagne, l'air de la montagne après la pluie. C'est un peu loin de l'hôtel, il a ouvert une heure plus de route S-shaped.

10/10 for Service – Truly Exceptional Stay in Shaoguan I had the most beautiful experience at this homestay in Shaoguan. From the very beginning of my trip, the service was outstanding. Someone was waiting for me at reception, and although my room wasn’t far, they kindly transported me by golf cart to the queen bedroom I had booked. That small gesture already made me feel welcomed and valued. I chose the queen bedroom with the mountain view and hot tub, and it was absolutely worth it. The room had a small balcony overlooking the mountain area, surrounded by flowers everywhere. It felt peaceful, private, and incredibly scenic. The room itself was spotless, and housekeeping cleaned daily to a very high standard. As an English speaker in China, communication can sometimes be challenging, but the staff went above and beyond to accommodate me. They used WeChat to communicate easily, and even arranged for an English-speaking staff member to assist me. They truly tried their best, and I felt completely supported the entire time. Room service was available anytime — I could simply message them on WeChat and they would bring food directly to my room. That level of convenience was amazing, especially since there are no nearby stores. You do rely heavily on the kitchen and staff — but honestly, that’s not a problem because they are so attentive and accommodating. Breakfast was served from 8:00 to 10:00 every morning, and the staff kindly reminded me daily. They offered traditional Chinese breakfast options. On my first day, I had a comforting bowl of ramen, and on the second and third days, I enjoyed the buffet area. For lunch and dinner, they also offered Western options. At one point, when I had a sudden sugar craving, they even made me sweet potato pancakes that weren’t on the menu — just to accommodate me! That personal touch meant so much. A must-try experience is horseback riding — and if you can, bring a carrot for the horse! It adds to the charm of the stay. Overall, I would absolutely do this trip again. The service was genuinely 10/10, the setting was beautiful, and the staff made the experience unforgettable. Highly recommended. 🌿✨
