This is where we spent the second half of our Costa Rica vacation, and I don't know if it's just because we came from an AMAZING hotel (La Vela) to this one , but this one was a huge let down. The person checking us in was so annoyed to be working, she made that very clear. You must make reservations for breakfast, so after checking in, we went out for dinner and as we came back thru the lobby, asked her if we could make our breakfast reservations with her. She said: ”OBVIOUSLY. But everyone else is able to just call the restaurant”. Then she continued a long conversation with her friend while we were just standing there, like, so do we stand here til she's done, or....??? HAHA One of our kids accidentally let the room door shut with the key in the room (You get ONE key, no matter how many people you have. Do NOT ask for a second!). We went back to this lovely woman, and she said there would be a $20 change for a new key. We thought, well, we could just wait for housekeeping to open the door... ?? In the end, she gave us another key, but said we had to immediately bring it back down after letting ourselves into room. LOL ok! Breakfast looked like nice and was huge buffet, but the food was meh. And on day 2, I think there must've been a note in our file LOL because they sat us literally as far away from everything as you could be. We walked past probably 20 open tables. Guess they wanted to hide us away LOL. But whatever - at this point we were just laughing. On the plus side: rooms were clean and comfy, the view of the volcano was AMAZING. he shower was clean and large, but there was not a single place to put your soap/washcloth/shampoo which was weird - just had to set everything on the floor. Location was good as we could walk to many places to eat and shop. Would not stay here again, given the choice!

C'est une saison de pluie, donc la pluie est trop forte et le temps est décevant, mais si le temps est clair, c'est absolument un bon endroit.

La chambre est spacieuse et propre avec une bonne literie. Malheureusement, elle souffre d'un manque d'entretien de gros espaces dans la bain vitrée, aucune moustiquaire dans la salle de bain, La vue sur le volcan doit être magnifique mais avec deux jours de pluie discontinue nous n'avons pas pu en profiter. Le personnel est très serviable et sympathique. Les hot springs très agréables mais attention à l'accueil, on nous a dit que le sauna est gratuit et quand on s'est présentés il fallait payer l'entrée.

J’y suis resté avec ma famille de 3 pendant 3 nuits. J’ai passé un agréable séjour dans cet hôtel. En arrivant le réceptionniste était souriant et chaleureux. Le monsieur travaillant au bar était sympathique et marrant, devenu comme un ami pendant ce séjour. Tout est comme sur les photos, la vu sur le volcan est majestueux. Les snacks sont très bons surtout le wrap au poulet. Je vous conseille vivement de prendre le jus de fruit au fruit de la passion. Au milieu de ce séjour nous avons eu un problème de plomberie( de notre faute), nous avons informer le réceptionniste, 2h plus tard un plombier a réglé le problème.

The Royal Corin is truly a 5 star Hotel . The all around Service is outstanding ! From the moment we walked out of our drivers vehicle we we treated as if we were the only guests staying on the property. All the staff went above and beyond taking care of all our needs the detail service is exquisite and that includes Bell Boy, Front Counter Staff, Restaurant Wait Staff, Pool Bartenders, they always addressed us by our names they always remained Professional and friendly while never compromising their detailed service . I must mention the Daily Breakfast spread was the best I’ve ever had . The selection of the fresh squeezed juices were delicious. We will definitely be back to be pampered in this amazing property and the next place we vacation will have very big shoes to fill. 💜💜💜

La maison a besoin d'une refroidissement et il y avait plusieurs petits projets en cours pendant mon séjour. Il y avait un arbre qui bloquait la voie de la nature près du spa tout le temps que j'étais là. Le restaurant est très bien - il a besoin de plus de goût et de plus de variété pour le petit déjeuner. La situation de la rivière de la chaleur est magnifique et il y a un chemin sur le côté opposé de la rivière qui vous conduit à des endroits de natation plus calmes. Le guide touristique de l'hôtel est étonnant - Cinq étoiles pour les tours de Frank - il personnalise votre tour et vous ne vous sentez jamais pressé. Le thérapeute de massage est aussi bon et il y a plusieurs massages différents à choisir.

DDream46319472146This resort was clearly designed with all types of families in mind—we saw couples with no kids, families with young kids, families with teenagers, and multigenerational families with grandparents into their 80s. And everyone looked like they were having a great time. Although it is a big resort, there are a lot of little pockets of places to relax or hang out in so you don’t feel like you’re in a herd of cattle. There are multiple (28, from what we were told!) pools, either chlorinated or fed by the hot springs, and even a “Monkey Slide” which was a hit for the kids. An even bigger hit for the kids: the air conditioned game room with ping pong table, air hockey table, Sony PlayStations and Nintendo switch with free popcorn. We stayed in the Aracari building, which is the newest building (opened in 2021). We had a double queen room, which for a family of four with two kids, had plenty of room for all our belongings. Fifteen foot ceilings made the room feel even bigger. Big patio looks out onto the volcano and was equipped with a dining table with 4 chairs and a comfortable outdoor sectional. Free laundry available (do it yourself), with laundry detergent pods and dryer sheets provided. They even had special shoe dryers in the laundry rooms. Housekeeping noticed the two sloth stuffed animals my daughter had in her bed and made the cutest towel sloth! We did river tubing (super fun!) at Club Rio, which is their activity center that is a free five minute shuttle ride away. Activities there cost extra, from about $25-$55, depending on the activity. Property is a little isolated from La Fortuna, but honestly almost all of the resorts in the area are outside of town. Taxi ride to town costs about $25. Finally, the staff were extremely welcoming and engaging. Melvin was our server for several meals and always remembered each of our names. Joe gave us a tour of the property when we arrived— he was fun to talk to and acknowledged us like old friends whenever we saw him around the property during our stay. Management went above and beyond in accommodating our request for a late checkout as we had a late flight leaving Costa Rica. It would be difficult to have a bad time at this resort and I would wholeheartedly recommend it for anyone staying in the Arenal area.

La chambre orchidée dans laquelle je vis est très confortable, le rideau est un volcan, avec petit déjeuner gratuit, le petit déjeuner est très bon, la salle de bain est très luxueuse, double lavabo, le plus important est le service est très bon, il y a une salle de gym gratuite et piscine, mais en fait ce n'est pas l'objectif, l'accent est mis sur l'extérieur Les sources chaudes, où les gens et la nature sont unis, doivent être appelées la navette de l'hôtel pour arriver dans environ 3 minutes, mais ce ne sera pas le quart une heure. Vous pouvez profiter de l'espace VIP lorsque vous habitez à l'hôtel. Le nom de la région est en fait écrit en chinois, Shangri-La, antiquités de sources chaudes, De nombreuses cascades descendent des montagnes. Votre chose la plus importante est de profiter de la vie. Il y a beaucoup de monde pendant la journée. La nuit, il y a moins de monde, vous pouvez donc vous sentir dans les sources chaudes. Ciel étoilé, le volcan est très beau et très confortable, il y a le bruit des cascades, la sensation d'ivresse, les sources chaudes, les bars, les buffets, etc., pour tout le monde, vous pouvez aussi prendre un bain ici, si la personne extérieure veut aller environ 100 dollars ou plus, En fait, il est plus rentable de louer une source chaude. Le hall de l'hôtel est également très beau, les vêtements du serveur sont très formels, c'est le meilleur hôtel dans lequel j'ai vécu lors de ce voyage, si vous conduisez pour manger, à environ 20 minutes en voiture, un restaurant chinois est également bon.

IInvitéNous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cet hôtel dont la bonne humeur et l’amabilité du personnel est à souligner. Du côté de la chambre nous avons pu profiter de la vue exceptionnelle sur le volcan, tantôt caché dans les nuages, tantôt se découvrant. Il faudrait par contre revoir un peu l’aménagement. Notre chambre commençait avec une partie ressemblant à un coin cuisine. C’est original. Au moins le frigo était grand et il y avait un congélateur. Un grand lit king size plutôt que deux lits 2 places classiques, cela serait super ! Une note très positive sur le restaurant de l’hôtel. Nous avons lu des avis assez critiques sur TripAdvisor mais nous ne comprenons pas ce qu’il y a à reprocher (à moins que la direction ait écouté les avis et adapté le restaurant ?). Les plats sont simples et très bons pour un prix tout à fait normal pour un restaurant d’hôtel. De plus le personnel est très attentionné. Le cadre est tout à fait charmant ! Donc oui vous pouvez manger pour beaucoup moins cher ailleurs, mais le blue hibiscus (le nom du restaurant) est un très bon choix si vous souhaitez ne pas vous compliquer la vie. Pour les avantages : un chemin de randonnée dans la jungle environnante facile à faire (45 min). IInvité Une très grande chambre à la propreté impeccable et aux lits confortables avec une superbe vue sur le volcan depuis la fenêtre et la terrasse. De magnifiques arbres et fleurs entourent les Bungalows et de nombreux oiseaux volent et viennent se poser sur les plantes, Nous avons eu la chance d'observer un paresseux plusieurs fois à l'entrée du parc, et le réceptionniste a toujours pris le temps de nous le montrer. Pour les amateurs de balade, un sentier fait le tour d'une petite forêt ou l'on peut observer de nombreux oiseaux et d'autres animaux. Excellent petit déjeuner avec grande variété. Tout le personnel est très aimable et serviable. Un très bel endroit où nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Si possible à privilégier les derniers lodges au bout de l’allée : vue imprenable sur le volcan : coucher et lever du soleil : magnifiques Seuls bémols : wifi uniquement à la réception et dans la salle du petit déjeuner. Pas de restaurant sur place mais grand choix à quelques minutes à pied.
