IInvitéWe really enjoyed our stay. The staff met us right at the train platform and walked us to the hotel, which was very convenient and thoughtful after a long journey. The hotel is clean, cozy, and comfortable, and you can truly feel the care for guests.
After visiting Machu Picchu, even after check-out, we still had plenty of time before our train. The staff kindly allowed us to wait in the lobby, charge our phones, and use the Wi-Fi, which was extremely helpful.
We highly recommend this hotel!

KKENJO OOur stay at Sumaq Machu Picchu Hotel was excellent. The hotel is new, well maintained, and is an ideal place to enjoy a comfortable rest before visiting Machu Picchu.
The service was warm and attentive from the moment we arrived. A staff member was waiting for us at the train station and assisted with our luggage both to the hotel and back to the station upon departure. Our room was comfortable, and the bed provided a much-needed good night’s sleep.
The hotel is also conveniently located within a short walk of the bus departure point for Machu Picchu. Everything was clearly explained during check-in, while the check-out process was equally smooth and well organised.
Overall, Sumaq Machu Picchu Hotel offers excellent service, comfortable accommodation, and a convenient location. We would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a relaxing stay before visiting Machu Picchu.

AAJ JensenExcellent location in Ollanataytembo. About a 5 minute walk from the main plaza and 15 minutes from the train station. The route to the hotel is along a narrow, stone, bumpy path so taxis or colectivos will drop you at the main plaza and you will have to walk the rest of the way. Check in and out was straightforward and the hosts were lovely people. Breakfast was basic but the orange juice and fruit were fresh and tasty! Room itself was very warm with a veranda looking towards the mountains. Bed very comfortable with extra blankets. Bathroom was a bit small but the shower was good after a long day of hiking. Would recommend and would definitely stay again!

IInvitéThe hotel is literally at the train station! Very convenient for taking train to Machu Picchu. However this is an eco lodge - 100 years old & it feels like that. There are no amenities to speak of, the onsite restaurant is very limited especially for vegetarian options.
The rooms are bare with floors & bed that creaks!! (Did I say it’s a century old?) The bathroom is very basic and more like a 2* hotel. Level of furnishings is again basic.
I paid $425 for 1 night & felt badly conned. Definitely not worth that amount.
Service- receptionist & all staff are very warm n friendly so that was really nice.
Cleanliness- very clean hotel.

IInvitéThe hotel is a few minutes walking distance from the Machu Picchu train station and right on the side of the rails. The best thing is that it is also only 2-minutes away from the bus stop that takes visitors to the entrance of Machu Picchu so it is ideal for any early morning excursions. During the day and up until around 9pm there will be trains passing by every once in a while and can get loud, but otherwise there is not too much source of noise. Since Aguas Calientes is a tiny town, most of the restaurants, marketplaces, and cafes are within a 10 to 15-minute walking distance.
The hotel is clean and well-maintained, with a great balcony view of the surrounding mountains.
Receptionist Mary was extremely helpful through WhatsApp communications, even coming to the train station to pick up guests, and gave a lot of information about visiting Machu Picchu. Breakfast allowed for an early start to accommodate those having early morning entrance tickets, and it was a decent buffet of varied food and made-to-order eggs. They were also very generous to allow guests to stay and rest in the reception area after check-out time and keep bags in storage before taking a late afternoon train. All in all a great choice if you are planning to visit Machu Picchu

IInvitéBesides the location (5mins walk from train and restaurant’s) and quality of the rooms, the reason this is getting a 5 star review from me and my mates was the customer service.
The people working at the hotel - in particular Nathale and William - were absolutely wonderful. Probably the best customer service I’ve ever received (I mean this literally). They went above and beyond to answer all our questions and helped us navigate train suspensions and protests (even offered us showers and a place to rest after climbing Machu Picchu, post check out).
They didn’t just respond to needs, they assessed and identified what would make us more comfortable and they delivered it proactively.

不不喜欢到处跑的我Le service est très bon, la position est également bonne à distance de l'attraction. Parce que l'hôtel de l'automne nous a mis à jour un lit super super super super. Le matin suivant, nous avons également préparé le petit déjeuner selon le temps. En plus du petit-déjeuner, vous pouvez vous aider à manger des œufs. La réception explique également très patientement où et comment acheter des billets de cheval.

LLIWENMerci d'avoir choisi un hôtel. Cet hôtel vous surprendra à coup sûr ! L'emplacement est excellent, à trois à cinq minutes à pied de la gare et de la gare routière. Les environs regorgent de restaurants et de cantines. Dès que vous entrez dans la chambre d'hôtel, vous sentirez un parfum chaud, très hygiénique, pratique et confortable. Le service est superbe. Les Péruviens sont gentils, simples et serviables. Ceux qui ont donné de si mauvaises critiques sont très curieux pour moi. En fait, vous devez également faire attention à être gentil et ouvert d'esprit lorsque vous êtes absent. Lorsque vous êtes en paix, vous vous sentirez à l'aise avec tout le monde. Je recommande vraiment cet hôtel !
