Hôtels avec vue sur montagne à Hué

The hotel is not in the city centre, but that's why we choose it ..... for the tranquility and the quite environment. The establishment is impeccable, we pay around HK$8xx, and have to admit this is very good value (even considering not much facilities). The restaurant team are awesome, very attentive, eagar to assist in a warm and welcoming manner. We went for breadfast daily, and from the second day, they remember our breakfast drink! The spa, much room for improvement...... considering the price, really would not expect ”smelly” bath robe (the price is around 2 to 3 times the price one pay at a spa parlour locally). During my stay, the hotel is under a planned renovation construction (we were told) - work is going on even over the weekends, that was very unfortunate. Especially we are looking for a quite hotel! I really think they should state at the booking portal and let people know! The most disappointing part is, the reception team were recommending car service to us (for our return trip to Danang). The original price quote was US$92. We booked. On the departure day, we were asked to pay, the bill was shown in VND (local currency) and I noticed there are service charge and tax applied. So I ask if the US$92 included the service charge and tax. The reception gentleman was slight agitated and say something like ”every body knows service charge and tax are applied to bills in Vietnam”. We were then checking the bill and tried to figure out if the US$92 were inclusive of the service charge and tax. While we were doing that, the reception gentleman told us, yes, the US$92 were already including the the service charge and tax. We were a bit itimidated then, and not wanting to further ruin our holiday mood, so we paid and leave. The car trip was very pleasant and the driver was very polite and attentive. When we are home, we check the bill again, and find out, we paid around US$112 for the trip. (ie, the originally quote price US$92 is not inclusive of service and tax. More so, the reception gentleman that explained the price to us, was either uncompetent or dishonest!

L'environnement est paisible, avec une plage privée. Tout le personnel, de la réception à la femme de ménage, est chaleureux et poli. Le petit-déjeuner est copieux et varié. J'ai particulièrement apprécié le café ; même ceux qui n'en boivent pas habituellement ont pu en apprécier plusieurs tasses. Il n'y a ni attractions ni restaurants à des dizaines de kilomètres à la ronde ; on ne peut manger qu'à l'hôtel, où un repas simple coûte environ 300 RMB par personne. Attention : les taxis Grab ne sont pas autorisés dans le parc ; nous avons utilisé la voiture privée de l'hôtel pour nous rendre au centre-ville, ce qui nous a coûté environ 500 RMB aller-retour et a duré environ 8 heures. L'hôtel propose également une navette pour Hué, mais elle part à 9h30 et revient à 16h, il est donc nécessaire de réserver à l'avance, et le tarif est de 8 USD par personne. Si vous recherchez la tranquillité et que le prix élevé des hôtels ne vous rebute pas, c'est un bon choix.

Moments très agréable. Rooftop très agréable avec magnifique vue, personnel serviable. Les tapas et les cocktails sont excellent. Personnel très professionnel et accueillant. Très joli hôtel avec belle piscine. Petit déjeuner buffet très agréable, si vous êtes amateurs de thé vert pensez à apporter le vôtre. Que du thé anglais type twinning c’est pas top. L’hôtel est idéalement placé pour visiter la cité impériale.

Excellente homestay un peu vintage et charmante en bord de mer. La propriétaire est très sympathique et parle anglais. Elle est de bon conseil pour indiquer les restaurants ouverts dans la zone. La chambre est grande, haute de plafond, et très propre, on y respire très bien un air pur venu du large. On vit ici une vie de village sur une jolie plage et un très bel estuaire. On devine que la houle cyclonique a fait de gros dégâts et les restaurants du bord de mer ont souffert. Celui que nous avons choisi propose des fruits de mer frais du vivier, excellent ! Ne ratez pas non plus le café au bord de l’estuaire tenu par un couple sympathique. Venir ici et soutenir ces villageois très chaleureux qui vous saluent dans la rue, c’est s’engager pour un tourisme communautaire intelligent.

La villa que nous avons séjournée était absolument merveilleuse. Nous avons eu le temps de nous amuser dans la belle et spacieuse villa. Nous vous recommanderions très bien d'autres voyageurs, et nous espérons revenir un jour !

Dans les magnifiques meubles antiques de l'hôtel, nous avons une chambre avec balcon et une vue magnifique sur la ville, toutes les vues dans l'accessibilité de la piétonne, photos sur le site correspond à la réalité

We love this place. We had a beautiful spacious wooden cabin with a balcony overlooking the Pearl River. Phi, the manager looked after us splendidly and could not have done more. We locked ourselves out, he came up in his buggy, we forgot something, he came up in his buggy; he had a cooked sliced steak take-away breakfast with dragon fruit ready at 6.45am and a taxi. Thank you Phi and team! We come back one April to see the tombs and pagodas we missed.
