La propriété est magnifique, remplie de cachet et d’histoire! Cependant, nous avons trouvé la prestation un peu cher pour la qualité des équipements fournis, spécialement en ce qui concerne la literie qui est de piètre qualité (spécialement les coussins) et la douche qui n’était pas utilisable de manière agréable. Ceci a été dit lors de notre premier jour mais rien a été fait pour améliorer cette situation. C’est dommage mais nous reviendrons quand même! N’oubliez pas de visiter l’adorable petit village de Monsarraz si vous êtes dans la région!

Our stay at Sao Lourenco was the absolute highlight of our honeymoon, what a dreamy place. We were thoroughly impressed by the quality of the accommodations, and the friendliness of the staff was truly world-class. It was wonderful to have the mountain bikes at our disposal and return to enjoy the afternoon tea time with delicious cakes. We cannot recommend the picnic option highly enough! The spa treated us to the best massages we've ever experienced, and the stargazing activity at the observatory is a MUST do and so romantic. The pottery class was super fun, and we hope to continue this new hobby. Breakfast was a delightful spread, with the best Eggs Benedict. The quality of both the food and service surpassed anything we experienced during our time in Portugal. While it was too cold to use the pools, the facilities were beautiful! Before departure, our breakfast server, Ines, went above and beyond to share a delightful list of her personal recommendations for exploring her hometown of Lisbon. Her exemplary 5-star hospitality left us with a lasting impression of genuine warmth and care. The same can be said for the rest of the staff from the front desk, gift shop, to the bar! We are looking forward to returning when we have little ones, as they appear to offer a great number of activities for families!

Incredible experience. Understated luxury with unique and beautiful accommodations and setting. Every single staff member we encountered seemed genuinely happy and proud to be a part of the team. Bee keeping experience was fantastic. Spa, wine tasting and olive oil tasting were also great experiences with the knowledgeable and enthusiastic staff.

Of 5 hotels we stayed at in Portugal, including some other top notch properties, this was our favorite. So lovely and peaceful. Wonderful staff and large comfortable room. Great food. We ate in both the hotel bar and the restaurant. Delicious breakfasts and dinners (farm to table). Highly recommend it.

The best place we stayed in Portugal. Beautiful large property.. so quiet by the pool. Nice special touches like complimentary water to drink by the pool. Delicious dinner in their restaurant. Big room with gigantic bathroom. Horse stables and ancient olive trees and remnants of ancient animal pens give character to the property.

if you want to be pampered in nature...this is the spot. Rooms are large have been modernized, but that is not why you stay here...you stay here for the staff and the relaxation and pampering they provide,,,,Lots of hiking trails bike trails and two pools ....and the restaurant is fantastic

Fabulous accommodations in the heart of Portugal. Restful, beautiful, fabulous service in a gorgeous setting. Our favorite activity was experiencing bee keeping with Fabio while touring the property. Wild horses with well manicured gardens - Do not miss this hotel!

Looking for somewhere special to celebrate my milestone birthday, we booked into this beautiful boutique hotel in Alentejo. I was not disappointed. This is a very special hotel set in magnificent grounds. From arrival to departure we were made to feel like special guests. Cannot fault the attention to detail from the furnishings to the wonderful organic food, it is a magical place and will stay in our memory for a long time. We highly recommend a visit. You won’t be disappointed.

This hotel is amazing. The staff, the rooms, the food, and everything in between. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in gorgeous nature. The breakfast buffet is stunning and the staff is so accommodating. Rooms are designed beautifully.
