Alpenhof Murnau

酒店來住過很多次，還是很喜歡的。酒店很温馨，不是很大，門口停車還是很方便的。花園有游泳池和泡澡池，即使冬天早上很冷，還可以泡熱的澡。早餐非常好，最喜歡這邊的早餐。 這邊入住適合自己開車前往，不然不是特別方便。

Alpenhof is a nice enough hotel, but so many little things were off, there’s no way it can compare to other five star hotels in the Alps. Starting with the arrival by car - greeted by a phalanx of no stopping signs in the entrance, best just to drive directly into the parking garage and unpack there. The how-fast-can-I-say-my-greeting speech introduction to the hotel from the lady checking us in. The varying levels of maintenance on the walls, furniture etc (brown stain in the porcelain sink, mirror damaged, screen door opens and slams shut in the wind, random little hook sticking out of the wall in the hallway, …) Being woken on Sunday around 830 to what sounded like construction but turned out to be the maids pushing their trolleys across tiles in the hallway. The outlandish prices in the restaurant for food that was ok but nothing else (fish overcooked, portion tiny) A breakfast buffet with “everything” but not at a quality I’d expect of 5*. Seemed more like what you’d get if you did your shopping at Aldi, bread and cheese included (meaning not bad, but also not special) The narrow hallway connecting the spa with the outside pool with showers you may or may not find, where you can dry off after your shower as people press by you. That said there were also little gems. Some of the staff was very friendly (especially at the restaurant for breakfast but also some front desk staff too)! The outdoor and indoor pool were both nice. Eating breakfast in the gardens was lovely. And to be fair, those other 5* places cost a bunch more. So I guess it’s a mix of broken expectations caused by the rating, some unfriendly staff at the front desk (though there were really friendly ones there too!) plus a lack of attention to detail that I’d expect from 4* too that made this a disappointment in general.

enjoyed a few days when visiting Oberammergau Festival.... Rooms are ok, servicer and front desk super nice, helpful, thankyou. Maybe the dinner was a bit on the up-side pricewise.... But all in all enjoyed the stay. might be back, Rented an ebike and had fun, too.

Wonderful hotel in an absolutely beautiful environment! Lovely rooms, great wellness and pool areas and lots to do!! The food was fantastic as were the amazing cocktails at the friendly and cosy bar with fireplace! Felt very comfortable and welcome with our 3 kids. And what really stands out is the quality of the staff - extremely helpful and friendly and motivated. We had a fantastic time and hope to come back soon!

This was our third visit to the Alpenhof Murnau with our two kids age 2 and 5. We were very positively surprised how well the staff managed covid precautions and I was very happy there were no compromises in terms of quality and service. Spa and pools were open as usual. I would even say service has improved since our last stay in Dec 2019. Staff are very helpful, attentive, caring, and friendly - many thanks for their hard work. Facilities are very clean and a very relaxing environment. So much nature right in front of the door. One thing I learned from our past visit is that they do not have any coffee machine or cups in the room so I brought my own coffee (being a morning coffee addict I cannot even make it to breakfast without some caffeine). You can get a coffee downstairs in the restaurant, but service is at least for us a bit too slow just for a cup of coffee. Their breakfast is very good - not the largest spread but good quality and well organized. Really like their Wiener Schnitzel at the restaurant. We stayed in an Alpenhof Panorama Room - Room 12 (bathroom a bit dated but is in a good condition). We will definitely be coming back in the future.

Nettes Hotel unweit von München. Freundliches Personal und eine sehr gepflegte Hotelanlage. Leider war der Innenpoolbereich etwas trist. Der restliche Wellnessbereich war gut. Klasse ist der Außenpool, der allerdings etwas kompliziert zu erreichen ist. Das Essen war gut, aber stand in keiner Relation zum Preis. Eine Flasche Wasser zum Preis von fast einer Kiste ist wahnsinnig unsympathisch. Ich zahle gerne für Gutes, aber beim Essen und Trinken wird hier der Bogen extrem überspannt. Das ist sehr schade und sollte überdacht werden. Bedauerlich fand ich auch den Automatenkaffee. Ein solcher hat in 5 Sterne Häusern einfach nichts verloren.

Das Hotel hat sehr viele Vorzüge. Saubere Zimmer, freundliches Personal, reichhaltiges Frühstücksbüffet, abends gutes Salatbüffet, sehr sehr schöne Bade- und Saunalandschaft! Vor allem weitläufig, modern und groß. Es gibt leider ein paar Abera, die für 5 Sterne nicht ausreichen. Warme Speisen beim Frühstück sind kalt, Büffet bis 10:30, was super ist, leider wird nicht nachgefüllt und ab 9:00 schon dürftig. Das geht leider gar nicht. Die weichgekochten Eier perfekt, aber eiskalt. Was ein nogo ist, für Begleitleitungswasser zu einer Flasche Wein 3.50 zu bezahlen. Eine 0,75 l Mineralwasser 9,50!!! So leid es mir tut, dass sind k.o Kriterien, dass wir nicht mehr kommen. Es ist ein sehr teures Wellnesshotel und dann so kleinlich passt für mich nicht in eine 5-Sterne-Philosophie. Generell ist das Essen gut.

Sehr angenehmes und stilvolles Hotel. Aufmerksamer und nie aufdringlicher Service, wunderschöne Bar mit tollen Cocktails und einer beeindruckenden Weinkarte. Der Empfang professionell und das Frühstücksbüffet herausragend. Einzig das Salat- und Vorspeisenbüffet dürfte abends etwas üppiger sein.
