IInvitéWe were delighted to have found and stayed at this property. Minzhushanfang is a very new bed-and-breakfast accommodation with a minimalist, calming, zen-style architecture befitting of the Wuyishan area. The rooms are similarly designed along the same minimalist, zen concept and are true to the property photos published on the booking platform. We deliberately chose an accommodation away from the hustle and bustle of town and so, found the location of Mingzhushanfang excellent. Located directly across from the entrance of the Wuyishan scenic area, it was very convenient accessing the park while being peaceful and tranquil. Do note that with its location being away from town centre, dining options at or near the property aren't many, so having dinner near town, prior to heading back to the hotel at night is strongly recommended.
The room we booked has a peaceful stream view, and looks remotely across towards the Dawangfeng peak. Room and facilities are very clean. While it seems smoking is not prohibited in the rooms, we were very thankful we had no issues whatsoever with residual smoke odour.
The owners of this property, who are also tea growers and manufacturers, were extremely hospitable. We were always welcomed for candid tea tastings and conversation at the lobby area, They even went out of their way to help us when we got abit lost in town! Their breakfast made by their Ah Yi is wholesome and amazing - with a lot of farm-to-table ingredients freshly harvested from their own vegetable patch. I would love to go back to visit Wuyishan again and will not hestiate to stay at Minzhushanfang again.

IInvitéAs a mom travelling with my two boys, (16 and 13) we had an absolutely fantastic stay at this beautiful villa! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by our incredible host Xianti (XT), his lovely mother, and the entire family. They were exceptionally kind, helpful, and genuinely caring throughout our entire visit.
We stayed in the Triple Family Courtyard Room, which was not only beautifully decorated but also spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Despite our late arrival, we were still able to order a meal from the aunties and wow, the food was outstanding! In fact, we ended up having lunch and dinner there every single day because it was just that delicious. Every meal felt like a lovingly prepared, home-cooked feast.
We also had the pleasure of taking part in a tea ceremony, which was a serene and special experience. The tea was exquisite, and it was a lovely way to connect with the culture and surroundings.
Another highlight was the recommendation to see Impression Da Hong Pao a next-level show that left us absolutely amazed. What made it even better was that our host arranged the tickets for us and had them delivered to the villa, so thoughtful and convenient!
If you’re still hesitating, don’t! We can wholeheartedly recommend this villa. It truly felt like a home away from home in China 💖 and was the perfect base for exploring the breathtaking Wuyishan mountains. Much love from this familie: Nathalie, Max and Thije.

IInvitéC'est l'hôtel idéal pour un séjour à Wuyishan. L'hôtesse m'a aidé pour tout, ce qui m'a permis de passer un excellent séjour en ville. Le reste du personnel de l'hôtel ne parle pas anglais, mais ils ont toujours fait de leur mieux pour m'aider. Ils m'ont aidé pour le circuit autour de la réserve, pour les billets pour le spectacle et autres. C'était très utile. Situation : Comptez 30 minutes en taxi depuis la gare du Nord de Wuyishan. Il y a aussi des bus. Comptez environ 5 minutes à pied pour le spectacle Impression Da Hong Pao. L'arrêt de bus est également à proximité (à environ 5 minutes à pied). La réserve est à 3 arrêts, soit moins de 10 minutes en bus. Chambre : très spacieuse et propre, tout est conforme aux photos. La rénovation et le mobilier semblent neufs. Sèche-cheveux, chaussons, produits d'hygiène personnelle et autres petits objets et collations sont à disposition. Il n'y a pas de réfrigérateur. Hôtel : Salons de thé et restaurants chinois à proximité. Mais inutile de s'y rendre à pied, tout est à l'hôtel. Les petits-déjeuners étaient chinois, mais on trouve toujours quelque chose à manger. Le déjeuner et le dîner sont également proposés. J'ai goûté du porc et du poisson. Tout était délicieux. La propriétaire possède une fabrique de thé ; on peut donc y acheter du thé.

While the villa's secluded location required a buggy ride to reach the lobby, the service was exceptionally quick and attentive.
The hotel's stunning backdrop, set against the majestic Wuyi Mountain, was truly unforgettable. However, to maintain its high standards, some areas of our villa required attention, including the floor tiles, countertop, and tub, which needed refurbishment. Additionally, the living room carpet appeared worn and dirty.
With some focused maintenance, this hotel has the potential to exceed expectations and solidify its reputation as a premier destination.”

Mais ce qui a fait de mon expérience inoubliable était l'aide que l'hôtel m'a apportée pour m'aider à explorer la région. Le printemps était incroyablement conscient, chaud et passionné de Wuyi. Son guide a ajouté tant de profondeur et de signification à ma visite.

The bathroom is large, spotless, and well-equipped with amenities. I especially loved the beautiful natural light in the room.
On the ground floor, there’s a vibrant tea shop where young locals drop by, creating a lively atmosphere. You'll find historical exhibitions and curated objects that offer insight into both Wuyishan and the rich heritage of Chinese tea. And don’t miss meeting Xiaobai, the friendly resident dog who’s always happy to greet guests.
The 6th floor features a cozy tatami-style common room, complete with a go board and a tea table overlooking stunning panoramic mountain views — an ideal place to unwind.
What truly sets this place apart is the host and the staff. They’re warm, welcoming, and always ready to share tea with you — each time you return from a walk or come downstairs. I stayed two nights and tried at least 6–7 different kinds of Wuyishan tea. Even as a solo traveler and a foreigner, I felt included in conversations and easily connected with other guests.
Pro tip: If you know a bit of Chinese, it’ll help you dive deeper into the stories behind the place. But even if you don’t, the language of tea will still make you feel at home.

LLayHuahThis is a small and cozy hotel. The room is very clean and all necessary amenities are provided, except body lotion which is necessary for the cold dry weather. The toilet and curtains have smart functions. Bed and beddings are comfortable and fresh. Although the lobby smells of cigarette smoke, our rooms were smoke free, which I appreciated very much. Staff are all attentive, obliging and very friendly. The staff ran out to help carry our luggages when they saw us enter the hotel. The buffet Breakfast was just adequate offerings due to the low season and low guests turnout. Location is excellent. The night food street is on the road behind the hotel. It is very easy to find food around the hotel. The hotel faces the dawangfeng lu, and it is convenient to take the free bus to the wuyishan scenic area south gate. We were here in January. The weather was glorious, blue skies, no strong winds, day high temperature around 17 °C

L'hôtel est à l'autre côté de la Pu City Van Dean Art Museum, qui mérite beaucoup de visite, et se trouve un bon endroit pour se reposer sur le terrain vert. La chambre de l'hôtel est large, propre et l'attitude du personnel est très bonne. Le petit déjeuner est bon, en particulier le soup de Danse de bière, est très apprécié si vous améliorez encore la chaleur.
