415 Marine Parade

We loved our stay here, the couple that run the lodge are very hospitable, friendly and helpful. Rooms are beautifully appointed and the hosts add lovely touches during your stay. Invited for wine or beer with the hosts and other guests in the garden at 17.30 along with complimentary goodies coffee and soft drinks at any time. Breakfast was delightful including choice of home made jams. Esther even helped booking dinner reservations to make sure we were all fed. No problem recommending 415 Marine Parade

Quite the best BandB we’ve ever been to. Fantastic welcome, comfortable space, great breakfast and a host and hostess who go out of their way to make everyone happy and get on together. A real home from home in Napier, home baking, home comforts with wine and a genuine smile! Thanks for a wonderful stay.

A definite home from home; Esther and Tom make you feel so welcome, it's like staying with friends. Our room was beautiful, the bathroom well fitted out & the towels & bed linen were top notch. Breakfasts were superb; home made stewed fruits & jams plus hot food cooked to order. The location is great too; right on the seafront & an easy walk into town.

Esther and Tom are the loveliest people and amazing hosts. As soon as you arrive, they make you feel like a valued friend! The rooms are newly renovated, incredibly clean, and quiet. The modern bathroom has all the amenities, including a wonderful shower. The bed is very comfortable with quality linens, and the blackout curtains make the room a great sleeping environment. The breakfast in the morning is excellent with homemade baked goods, plenty of fruit, juice, cereal, and yogurt, as well as Esther making you a hot breakfast of your choice, while Tom is an excellent barista. Location right on the beach allows you easy access to all the best restaurants in Napier, and it is a short drive to the other attractions of Hawkes Bay, including wineries and Cape Kidnappers. If you have a visit to Napier in your plans, you cannot go wrong with staying here!

If anyone is looking for a place to stay in Napier look no further. Tom and Esther are the most wonderful host, not to mention their outstanding breakfast each morning. You made us feel so welcome and we absolutely loved staying with you. Our room was on the second floor with its own ensuite bathroom , the decor and the outlook were outstanding. Our stay at 415 Marine Parade was one of the highlights of our recent trip to New Zealand. It was an absolute privilege to experience Esther and Tom's amazing home and incredibly generous hospitality. The stylish house is gorgeous and the sheer hard work, love and attention to detail that has gone into the refurbishment was plain to see. Our room was spacious, beautifully furnished and immaculately clean with an extremely comfortable bed, fabulous bathroom and a lovely balcony. The location in Napier is perfect - just across from the beach and a short, gentle stroll into town. From the moment we arrived, Esther and Tom made us feel so welcome. They are truly the most remarkable hosts. From early evening drinks with nibbles, great conversation and laughter on the deck, to delicious, freshly made breakfasts, homemade cakes and jams, plus brilliant local knowledge and advice on local restaurants - nothing was too much trouble. There were so many extra touches and details during our stay that were so unexpected but very much appreciated. I really didn’t want to leave (Esther have you checked I’m not still hiding in the wardrobe?! 😜). We will never forget our stay at 415 Marine Parade and cannot recommend it highly enough. Thank you so much Esther and Tom and I really hope we meet again.

We had an amazing stay with Esther and Tom. Magnificent and very generous hosts and their 5pm drinks are great fun. The suites are immaculate and the whole house is beautifully furnished. The location is perfect with a short stroll into town and if you need advice as to restaurants or things to do then just ask Tom or Esther who will be happy to help. Thank you for making our stay in Napier so memorable. Hopefully one day we will return ( Scotland is a long way away) but if anyone wants a place to stay in Napier then 415 Marine Parade is the place.

A most beautiful and recently renovated house right opposite the beach. 5 mins walk from the Art deco centre of town. The room was spacious and both with the en-suite kitted out to a very high standard. Breakfast was super and to our timings. The guys were most helpful in recommending visits and areas to see. Just a great place to stay….

Esther and Tom are the perfect hosts! But they are more than hosts, they go above and beyond to fulfill wishes you were not aware of having them. They give you a home for the time you spend there and care for you. The rooms are nothing but perfect, clean and cozy but still stylish. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and can 100 % recommend this place! Thank you Esther and Tom! Btw I am recovering from my caugh after a doctor‘s visit in Wellington. Take care and all the best.
