Around 20 of us met on the top of Hotel Sico for the monthly Tinkers dinner and it was quite a successful evening. I ordered a chicken cordon bleu which was very good and presented in a novel way. For those who are interested, going up the stairs requires 85 steps!

Good Hotel, I was Impressed with the first impression, Rooms are Cozy and comfy. Lots of ants in the bathroom. Not an issue when I understand its nature and Hotel team attended rightaway and solve the issues. At my checkout, I paid everything. Settled my bills, asked them to store my luggages for 2 hours, as I wanted to do sightseeing and lunch before heading to flight. We stopped by reception twice, once we were waiting for the vehicle we simply asked for a glass of water, even the staffs reconfirmed if we want a glass or bottle.. we clearly mentioned that we need a glass of water. They brought us a bottle of water, which is very nice, excellent and we loved it. After checkout we went out, due to traffic we came back to Hotel in rush, worrying that a minute wasted might miss our flight. It ruined my whole impression with the hotel when the staff member came running behind me mentioning I have a billed to settle, I asked her what is the item to pay since I have settled all my Bill's. She had no clue, started calling her colleagues, while I kept saying I might miss my flight. Make it hurry, at the end because of the hotel service I wasted my time to pay for a bottle of water which is misunderstandings or the hotel, served us a bottle when we asked for a glass, fine if they charge for a glass. Not a problem to pay but the charges should be presented and asked to pay rightaway when they know that we are checkout and ready to go. Just running behind me for payment of a water bottle, irritated me alot and changed my whole impression of the stay. Nice hotel, if you want good comments and to be popular in the city with the tourists. Need to train the team of what service is. Its definitely not the Receptionist fault. Management should train them, be available to make decisions when it's related to customers experience. Or empower the Receptionist in decision making. I have no problem paying for a bottle of water when I have paid alot more for my accommodation and food there.. but last impression was spoiled from their own mistake.

Beds are really confortable and it's really clean. The shower is just amazing. We really liked the hôtel and it's close to the restaurants and the beach. We had an airport pick up with them at 2h00 on the morning and they were very welcoming and it's really close to the airport. We will probably come back to this hotel before leaving. The breakfeast is too expensive (but it's was a good breakfeast) and there is not a lot of other options around before 11h00 am. I suggest you to buy something in avance at the grocery if you travel on a budget.

We really like our stay at this hotel, the installations are great (nice little pool for the afternoons when it's too hot to be at the beach), the rooftop terrasse is nice but mostly, all the staff there is very professional and friendly! We definitely recommend this place!

Had a very pleasant stay recently. Hotel clean, staff helpful, all good. Internet on 3rd floor not the best but the manager gave me a router and it was then excellent. Close to main st and beach- central to everything. Airport shuttle smooth and stress free. Thanks.

Me and my friend had gone for a 15 day visit to sri lanka in the month of Dec and every hotel we stayed we enjoyed their facilities and breakfast.. we stayed in hotel sico on 31st Dec for a a night.. we were welcomed and we loved the hotel room . Beautiful place and they even arranged for a router in our room as their wifi was not working. We paid 4000/- sri lankan currency for 2 people for breakfast. We had a flight to catch on 1st Jan and the breakfast arranged for us right from the start was horrible. I asked for black coffee and literally the coffee and water looked separate. Asked for sri lankan omelette which supposed to have chillies and tomatoes. I got plain omelette and when I asked him to make another one with chillies and tomatoes, the waiter got it a plate with just cut chillies and tomatoes. I don't think the waiter understood anything what we were requesting. Since we were hungry we were eating whatever they were giving us. The bread was cold and not toasted. What shocked us was when my friend asked for a vegetable sandwich and she bit into it and there was a small toothpick which was holding the sandwich together and it hurt her so much. But they didn't care. When we asked for refund, they kept saying that we ate the breakfast , so they can't give. Such a disappointment to end the trip with..

Stylisches Hotel, auf den ersten Blick und von den Fotos her fand ich es sehr ansprechend. Das Zimmer war nicht sauber, das Bad extrem ungepflegt. Housekeeping mangelhaft! Schade, aber ich würde dort nicht mal umsonst wieder übernachten wollen!

Taras na dachu z którego rozpościera się widok na okolice. Barman niestety zbyt zajęty swoim telefonem żeby przyjąć twoje zamówienie. Szczególnie w tak ważnym dniu jak sylwester chciałbyś być milo obsłużony. Telewizor tez nie działał ani w dniu przyjazdu ani żadnego kolejnego dnia. Prosiłam kilkakrotnie dziennie każdego dnia w recepcji oraz menadżera. Bez skutku. Woda pod prysznicem często zimna szczególnie rano. Klimatyzacja za mała lub popsuta bo w pomieszczeniu nie spadała temperatura poniżej 25 stopni. Z krzesła przy biurku nie można korzystać bo jest zbyt wysokie wiec trzeba pracować z laptopem na kolanach. Obsługa często zapomina o środkach czystości albo ręczniku albo wcale nie zagląda. Za to zagląda do twoich prywatnych walizek. Zginęło mi ostatniego dnia 20 funtów zgłosiłam sprawę do managera niestety nikogo to nawet nie poruszyło. Nie otrzymałam żadnych przeprosin jakby to było zupełnie normalne ze w hotelu okrada cię obsługa i myszkuje po twoich walizkach. W restauracji po stołach chodzą małe robaczki jest to strasznie zniechęcające ładnie ujmując. Basen jest ale nie da się z niego korzystać bo panowie z obsługi robią sobie z ciebie widowisko. Bardzo słabe Wi-Fi do tego znika co kilka godzin i musisz wpisywać dodatkowy kod jeśli go masz. Ale jeśli pracujesz o 1ej w nocy nie masz kodu to nie masz Internetu. I tak codziennie. Czasem udało mi się zdobyć w recepcji dodatkowy kod. Niestety obsługa pokoju zabrała kod. Zasadniczo serwis wchodził czasem do pokoju tylko po to aby dołożyć papier toaletowy. Podłogę posprzątano 3go dnia na wyraźna moja prośbę bo znajdowało się tam sporo kurzu i długich czarnych włosów po poprzednich gościach. Mam wrażenie ze kołdra nie jest prana ogóle a nie ma tez na niej poszewki. Natomiast na poszewkach z poduszek były widoczne plamy. W łazience grasują duże mrówki wiec kiedy siadasz na toaletę zaraz jesteś obleziony nimi. Bardzo kąsają. Pod prysznicem nie ma zadnej polki na środki czystości.
