Stayed for one night in the "3-room" appartment which we booked, so my best friend and I could have separate bedrooms. During check-in we were asked if we had done our covid tests and/or gotten vaccinations, but no actual validation was done so unvalidated claims are easily possible. The check-in itself went fast though. We did not enter the appartment until late at night when the reception was closed. The so-called 3-room appartment (room 124) had 1 bedroom with two beds 90x200 and one living room with a kitchen. The third room was small and completely empty, with no working light and a fuse box, a power meter and a water meter on the wall. According to the reception that one was just a storage room for people that stayed longer. To us it felt unjustified to call it a 3-room appartment. We were told that with three or four people staying in the appartment, there would have been another bed put into the living room and that there were actually no appartments with two bedrooms offered in the hotel. The carpet in the living room was full of stains and there was a lot of dust on the power outlets which made us feel uneasy. The flushing mechanism on the toilet was malfunctioning and kept running through the entire night. The back wall of the Ikea wardrobe was broken and there was a general musky smell which could probably have been alleviated by airing out the room before guests arrive. Then again with a carpet holding that much history, it might not have worked. When we brought our complaints, they reduced our fee by the price of the breakfast and we appreciate that. We did not eat there anyway, but it was the right gesture. I recognize the difficult times, hotels go through right now, but I am certain we will not stay there again.
