Hotel Saint Vincent

The staff was friendly and accommodating from the front desk, to the food service staff, everyone was so friendly. Our every need was met. The food and atmosphere was amazing. Our room was very nice. I loved the large tub. The decor was exceptional.

We spent three nights at Hotel Saint Vincent after taking the Crescent down from Virginia. It was a stylish, comfortable place with great food and friendly service. There were a few little quirks in the room, like the air conditioning (either on or off, not related to actual temperature) blowing horizontally directly over the bed, and no shower curtain to keep water off the floor. Bed was super comfy with first class linens. We loved the Magazine Street neighborhood (lower Garden District away from French Quarter craziness). Food was outstanding, particularly the Elizabeth Cafe in AM. Saint Vincent has its own bakery (!!!), and produced outstanding sweet and savory items. Our stay was marred on our last morning by a surly maintenance worker operating an ear-splitting electric blower full blast amidst breakfast. I walked out to the patio next to Elizabeth with my fingers in my ears, and he turned to glare at my wife and said (quoting directly) "I don't need none of that bullsh*t", driving her indoors. We didn't say a word to him (which he wouldn't have heard anyway since he was wearing headphones). When we complained to the front desk about the unacceptable interaction, we got a perfunctory apology and more attitude. I guess that's the way with hospitality these days. We need to account ourselves lucky to be served at all, let alone treated with respect. That accounts for only four stars. We might come back.

Hotel Saint Vincent hosted our wedding on St. Patrick's Day and I cannot say enough about their excellent service. From the food to the staff to the amazing atmosphere. Everything was exceptional. Jamie Richard assisted us from the planning phase all the way through the day of the wedding. No detail was missed. Every staff member went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Our whole experience from start to finish was 5+ star. Whether you are in town on vacation or have an event to plan, I urge you to consider Hotel Saint Vincent. You will not be disappointed!

Amazing venue, amazing staff - an amazing experience! We hosted a Welcome Party and a Wedding/Wedding reception. Atmosphere, food, drinks - all of it were great. The whole experience and 'vibe' were unique. I highly recommend the Hotel St Vincent and working with Jamie and her team!

This was the best, most wonderful boutique hotel experience EVER. I'm a platinum member for Marriott. I love the culture of this hotel. It's in a neighborhood that supports it's 4 food venues. History of this place is amazing. It was a former orphanage and monastery.

Hotel Saint Vincent provided a PERFECT spot to house my work colleagues who were from out of town. The built-in restaurants and bars made it easy to meet for pre- or post-work activities, and the proximity to other restaurants and coffee spots made this an ideal location. Would highly recommend Hotel Saint Vincent for business and personal trips!

My fiance and I booked a short weekend getaway to NOLA for my birthday and we booked our stay at Hotel Saint Vincent. Our stay was nothing short of exceptional! We loved everything the hotel had to offer, from the decor, people, and vibes! We were greeted with such warmth and professionalism when we checked in. Amanda at the front desk was amazing! She checked us in right away and gave us suggestions for things to do and places to eat around town. They were all great! Our room was impeccably clean and we loved the decor. We can't wait to return and experience the amazing hospitality again. Highly recommended!

I love the Hotel St. Vincent - one of my top 5 hotels of all time. My wife and I stayed after our wedding not too far away, and the staff could not have been more incredible in making it a phenomenal stay. We absolutely loved every single little detail and small touch in this place, from the incredible smell as you walk in, to the design, to the pool, to the Chapel Club. The staff was absolutely exceptional - I don't know if I've ever seen a better hotel staff, and a special shoutout to Ketra (I hope I'm spelling her name right, as she is absolutely amazing). They remembered us (and that it was our wedding) and continued to make us feel like we were staying with friends at every possible opportunity for them too. We had several of our wedding guests staying as well, and they all agreed that it was an extraordinary stay. Could not recommend more highly - we will be back at the St. V whenever we are back in New Orleans and are already planning on booking for our 1 year anniversary. I did not eat at the restaurants, but my guests, who are quite particular about food, all did and said they were exceptional. Love this place and can't wait to come back.

My hotel stay was incredible. The level of detail and care put into our stay from arrival to departure was unlike any experience I have ever had. What other hotel has silk pillowcases and hand painted wallpaper?! Guest services was extremely gracious and helpful. The bars and main restaurant had delicious food and drinks. I cannot wait to return. This is THE hotel to stay at in New Orleans.
