Newly-Renovated Comfortable Studios Near All Nola Hot Spots

Perfect short little trip to New Orleans at Canal Express studios:) The place was perfectly located, cozy for being so small, secure. This was my second time using Hosteeva, and I can say with confidence that you've earned customers for LIFE. Best customer support I've received probably ever, AND they offer reasonable prices. Love it here

The house is beautiful! Unfortunately, our room is downstairs the ceiling is very low and even though they are saying it is non smoking well it smells like cigarette in the room. The location is great but I am very disappointed to be in the basement. I hate it.

What a quaint home. Decorated appropriately with stylish modern mixed with antique. The check in was a bit confusing but was quickly rectified with a quick phone call. We’ve never stayed in a “hotel” without a front desk but this was much more like a BNB. It was very quiet and extremely comfortable. It was also very close to the trolley that took us down to the French Quarter to the music festival. Very close to lovely restaurants and shops. One little thing that was missed in my opinion was there is no broom. I spilled the dry coffee grounds and had no way to clean up. All in all I would recommend this wonderful little gem.

Would not recommend booking with them. I had an issue that was out of my control come up and am no longer able to go to New Orleans as planned in March. Tried to cancel last night and was told it was completely non-refundable. I find this absolutely ridiculous, as I am trying to cancel over 2 months in advance. I find it very sketchy and shady and want to warn other potential guests.

We loved our stay! The house was so clean and spacious. Everything was as described on the listing. Check-in was so easy and we had no trouble finding the place. The best part is that trolley is literally steps away from the home, which made it so easy to get to the French Quarter or Canal St. We had a Walgreens also steps away so it made it so easy to grab snacks or drinks and there were also lots of food options walking distance especially Avenue Cafe which was delicious! We would 100% recommend staying here to anyone that wants to visit New Orleans!

We loved our stay! The studio was so clean and comfy. Everything was as described on the listing. Check in was so easy and we had no trouble finding the place. Everything was the way we expected it to be. Amazing stay. Will be renting for Mardi Gras next year.

Excellent studio! Interior was furnished very nicely and was immaculate. My family had a great stay with zero problems. Location is also excellent - super close to garden district The area was quiet and seems to be improving (we saw no homeless, etc, on the street, only other renters or residents walking up or down the street). Would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone!

The house where the room was in is really pretty with a very cute porch. We didn't hear or see much of the other travelers so it was all really quiet. You basically had anything you needed, with the microwave, small fridge, and coffee machine. The neighborhood was quiet as well and there is a supermarket not far away. To walk to the French Quarter was not far but there is also a tram close by. We absolutely enjoyed our time and can recommend the place. Also, communication with the host was quick and helpful.

My husband and I stayed at Canal Express Studios for a long weekend October 7 - 11 and had a great experience. The experience is more like an Airbnb than a hotel. We were sent instructions on how to check in 24 hours prior to arrival.( Doors are all key padded) We were assigned room 201 with the entrance immediately off the porch. The entire place is a renovated old house. The room was large and clean with updated decor. The airconditioner worked great. A refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, coffee creamer, sugar, mugs, hairdryer, towels, soap, shampoo and body wash were all provided. The room had a smart tv with access to many free channels such as redbox, crackle and peacock and also others such as Netflix and Prime that you could sign into. There is a laundry in the basement for use. The location is approximately 2.5 miles from the French quarter with the street car ($3 per day unlimited rides) easily accessible from both corners (Hennessey and Murat) and stops every 15-20 minutes. There are some great restaraunts within walking distance (2 blocks) and a Winn Dixie 3.5 blocks away. We felt very safe walking around the neigborhood both during the day and in the evening when returning to our room. The only reason we did not rate this a 5 star is the fact that there was only ever luke warm water to the sink and shawer, never hot. We believe this is due to this particular room possibly being at the end of the line because it took quite awhile for the water to reach the luke warm status. We would return and stay here again!
